The fireplace was a bit smokey.... :)
The couple who run Fountain Place are helpful and friendly, but do not intrude on your privacy. The breakfast was excellent. The peaceful setting made for a very relaxing stay.
Central to restuarants, galleries etc. Excellent hosts, nothing too much bother.
Nothing to dislike.
We appreciated the helpful advice from Jane and Mark. It was lovely being able to sit and enjoy breakfast on the terrace. Very good value for money.
Great hospitality. You get treated like a friend visiting the house and the village.I forgot the cosmetic bag with my pills and the owners did everything possible to have it delivered during the festive saison. Very nice chique breakfast setting and eggs! Thank you Jane and Mark. Happy 2014!
do not go with a suitcase on wheels. The pebble way does not rol the wheels light. You have to carry it.
We loved our stay at Fountain Place Guesthouse. Jane and Mark went out of their way to make our stay special. A wonderful breakfast served on the terrace. Loved the beautiful, crisp table linen and all the lovely touches which made the rooms so pretty. Exceptional value for money. Thank you!

A superb place! Lovely owners who pay extremely much attention to details. We enjoyed every minute. We stayed longer than we actually intended.
Very friendly and helpful hosts, Jane and Mark; the guest house and garden are beatifully presented and very comfortable, with many thoughtful touches; excellent value. McGregor is an unspoilt C19 vilage in the Robertson wine valley. Delightful to explore on foot, with artists' studios, attractive cafes and many historic cottages, plus an interesting multi-faith garden.
Setting wonderful Rooms very stylish Loved the peace and quiet, enjoyed the fountains and birds. Wonderfull breakfast
