Hotel situated in a central position in Cape Town, easy to reach by bus from the airport.I Found a real apartment, with every comfort. The staff was always very professional, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Cape Town. I had the impression that the area at night could be dangerous, especially if one goes out alone, like in my case (thankfully, nothing has happened). The tv did not offer many programs.

The room was very clean, confortable and had all facilities. Hotel location is optimum for business, dinning and shopping as it is in the heart of the city center where all attractions are a walking distance.

I loved that the room had a King size bed! The breakfast was excellent and the coffee delicious. I appreciated the environmental approach. We also got to check in early at no extra charge!! I've recommended you to my friends and would definitely stay with you again next time we need to come to the city.

Level of maintanence not good. The toilet in our room was not functioning 100% well as it had a tendency of bringing stuff from other toilets. After flushing the toilet we would see stuff comimg back to our toilet bowl. Small things that they can fix or replace. The taps in the bath were loose and would often fall off when turning the tap on or off. The dust bin in the bathroom was broken, and the lid would fall off when we opened it. We saw one or two cockroaches moving about in our room and in the restuarant. The food was nice, but some of the food did taste fresh, eg the muesli and dried fruits. Just need to keep a constant check on the food. If they do eat the food themselves they will be in a position to know when it has lost its freshness

The hotel was in a great location for the theatre and shopping. The staff were friendly and courteous and service was efficient. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and it represented good value for money. We would definitely stay there again. The air conditioning was slightly noisy.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and went beyond my expectations. The location was very good. Breakfast was good and was nice that you can sit outside. The furnishings are a little out dated and the layout of the room was not very good - would say more of a 3 than 4 star hotel - but a good 3 star.

The balcony room which I requested to get changed to. Parking is an absolute joke! The rooms are nothing like the website depicts, besides the balcony room. Still waiting for my wake up call. One of the elevators "level 6" button doesnt work, had to go to 7 and walk down the fire escape. Linen and dirty dishes left next to the elevator for hours. Jack Daniels and SoCo not in stock for the whole stay, but its on the menu. Empty minibar.

Everything. The hotel is airy, spacious, welcoming, just exactly what one looks for in an hotel. I am already thinking of returning for a longer stay. The rooms are large and the king size bed was divine. The spacious room allows for two comfortable armchairs and lots of space. The window even has a window seat! (Oh well ok, wide window sill so you can sit on it and see the city below!) The bathroom was clean but could do with a revamp. I loved the big mirrors in the bathroom. Plus two mirrors in the bedroom, one a quaint little stand-alone mirror on the dressing table. Tea and coffee facilities and a bar fridge in the room was great! And last but not least, the breakfast buffet was great! I loved the inside-outside seating of the breakfast room with a view of the fountains in Adderley Street. The staff were plenty and ready to assist not that I needed to ask for anything. The parking was the best - just drive up (I found a parking right by the lifts on the first floor). Then take the lift down one floor to the ground level and check in. Check- in was efficient. I love this hotel.

The Hotel was reasonable but I sent an e-mail request for adjacent rooms however, the two rooms were at opposite ends of the corridor. On the second day, a group of young girls arrived and we had to complain twice to have something done about it. I would not use this hotel again.

The food was good and the staff were very nice Internet services were not great. Bad at times, hard to access password and staff could not resolve issues fast. That even though internet was an added cost.

I liked that everyone was so friendly fromn the moment you enter, until the time that you leave. The breakfast is vast and varied and the breakfast buffet service run slick like a well oiled machine. The location is ideal as you are five minutes away from vna and walking distance from many shops. Even though I selected to stay at the supreme room, I found that it was not as spaceous as I would have liked and although advertised with a view, the view was nothing too special

This was our second stay at Fountains. We returned because the staff are so very, very friendly, generous and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The corridors leading to the hotels are long and a bit off putting. Some paint work and decoration would help.

The breakfast is very good, the place to have breakfast is very light and with the glass window, very nice. The location is also very good, it is very near to cticc and in the city center. The hotel is very small, only one block. The room which I live in is very small, wet, dark and noisy. The space is too small the chair can't pull out to sit.The service of the housekeeper is not very professional, they knock the door in the early morning

The staff did very much their best to compensate for the poor conditions this hotel is under, besides the great stuff I have nothing good to mention of this hotel. On Booking.com 2 room-types are offered. The superior room with a lot of daylight and a balcony but they only have 4 rooms like this! And the other superior rooms that they sell are in fact standard rooms, much smaller and a small window so you are being lied to. The standard room offered is even worse than shown, it looks onto a corridor.... The hotel is mouldy, smelly, it's a very old office building which was turned into a hotel several years ago and since then seems to have not been maintained. I would definitely advise against staying here as you will be disappointed, unless you just want a cheap bed!

The staff at the hotel were very nice, friendly, and helpful, especially the front desk. The internet connection would not work all the time. Every evening it would go out and you could not get a connection at all. Very frustrating when you need to take care of business at home while you're away.
