Beautiful surroundings.Lovely breakfast. We were only there one night and did not have enough time to enjoy the area. Would have wanted to do some hiking.

A superb location - enormous possibilities - excellent quarters Staff not so good - cleaners hopeless - dead flowers left to rot in the bathroom - room not serviced in the evenings - beds unmade etc

The veune is amazing. Only 5 minutes out of town (walking distance) yet one feels as though you are remote and in the mountains. The accommodation is superb. Luxury 5 star qualty.

Fantastic attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the views are magnificent. The gardens are so well maintained and everything is neat as a pin. Denise, Manager on Duty was very friendly, helpful and very professional. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a stunning location and extremely comfortable.. with walks and nature on the doorstep! The rooms are v. spacious with a private covered outside patio space... keep an eye as Baboons can be spotted from here! The breakfasts were fabulous! They had thought of everything in the rooms.. really great. Nothing!

The accommodation is modern but sympathetic to the natural surroundings, and made for a very comfortable stay. Ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. We didn't stay long enough there! Nothing to complain about.

The best accommodation we stayed in during our Garden Route trip, so good in fact that we rebooked for our return journey. A very luxurious high class establishment, stunningly tastefully decorated rooms with every conceivable extra you can imagine a 5 star place should have. Super soft linens too. Loved the little brown ribbons bows on the towels, cutlery etc in the room, plus the selection of dvds in the room. They even provide popcorn and marshmallows! Lovely touch. No noise at night and the most comfortable beds made for a great nights sleep.The breakfast was to die for! Rooms overlook the mountains and river. Would highly recommend you stay here, don't look anywhere else in Swellendam, this is the place to stay, and I like quality! Very good value too. Nothing all fantastic.

Lovely design of the oom and thoughtful touches like the tray set up for drinking hot chocolate and marshmallows while watching the DVDS that have been provided. Cold floors. The only thing that builders left out was radiant heating.

First of all I was really impressed by the mountain view behind hte room. Secondly the outstanding design of the interior. I felt like in a designer room in CPT. Great service and also classy breakfast. All in all a wonderful stay. Restaurants are in downtown.

Ruime en prachtig ingerichte kamers met zeer luxe sanitair. Mooi uitzicht op de bergen vanaf je eigen overdekt terras. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt. Een echte aanrader!
