room and passage smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Decor is shabby, very dirty windows,
very good access to public transport
Bathroom needs some TLC: bath full of marks, wall needs touching up Front door needs a rubber to stop rattling the whole time due the wind
Parking - my ticket never worked for me to exit the building with ease. The lady in duty on sunday 5th April was very rude. They kept holding back my ticket the entire stay and when I told her she my ticket was in the office she had a lot of attitude. Directions to the apartment - not clear at all. We walked the whole mall looking for the sign indicators and only found them with the help of frequent shoppers our apratment 303 - the electricity tripped on saturday. We had no power all day - on our return there was no one at the office and no answer to the phones. I sent an email which was answered late Sunday saying they would 'sort it out'. We asked the security office to assist. They seemed familiar with the power cut solutions and helped us get it back on. The apartment can not be left without first hand maintenance assistance. Our tv channel only had local stations and m-net edge. We asked for assistance on Thursday - the lady at gardens apartments said she would help - when we went back to ask her to come some hours later she replied that she was 'busy'. We stayed with poor tv reception all weekend. We did not have Sunday room service. The wind was very audible - it seemed the window had an opening. We heard the wind howling all weekend. There was a stain on the carpet that could have been hidden with a rug. The pots were well used. On Saturday our kitchen linen was taken and not returned.
The whole place very smelly. Bathroom and kitchen very old and full of cockroaches. Nothing happened after reporting this concern.
Shops at a very convenient location downstairs. Also public transport not a problem.
All was perfect
The location relative to the shopping centre and centre of Cape Town The friendly and experienced staff The clean and quite comfortable apartments We'll be back.
the wardrobe was in a very bad state. the coffee shops were closed at 17h and there were no pace to have dinner in this huge commercial center.
the shopping centre facilities. close to the city centre.
no shower, Kitchen oven no good old
central, clean, well priced
Too much noise from other permanent residence and the construction at the mall
There were cockroaches in the bathroom, I would suggest replacing baths with showers.
Central location within a mall.
parking, inflexible staff
Not clean, not fresh. Wind noise due to leaky windows
Shoppoing centre was under refurbishment, so because of that it was noisy. We got no discount for this discomfort., and we never offered that either
The service was great, the cleaning fantastic and the location was superb and safe
Parking ticket collection from basement not cool.........attendant poor.....should be given at reception ...scary for women coming into parking garage late........very uncool..........no visible sign of security
Position ............and bed linen clean good quality
The windows need fixing because of the wind
A nice clean place to stay with shops for your comfort at the same place
The kitchen and bathroom really need some renovation. The entrance to the reception office is difficult to find if you are not familiar with the setup. The street map on booking.com is also a bit confusing.
Wonderful views, good location, just opposite mycity bus terminus. Safe parking. Beds were comfortable and bed linen of good quality.
Wind very bad on certain days and windows not well sealed
Reasonably priced, good location, nice view
Although its not that dreadful, but I would suggest replacing the clingy shower curtain with a glass panel and fitting mixers on taps in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as better overhead-showers
It is nice and centrally located and the shops inside the Centre make it convenient for the essentials and nice-to-haves.
The fridge and general kitchen feel was dirty, very old and tired. Kitchen kettle and toaster and other implements were awful. Needs and upgrade!
The view. Single beds were relatively comfortable. Convenient to shops (downstairs)
1. Bathroom: The basin enamel had peeled off. I had maintence up to look at the window and showed the gentleman the basin. 2. Bathroom: There was mold on the bathroom wall and creacked paintwork. I also showed this to maintentance. 3.Window in Bedroom: The wind rattled through this window. To solve the problem newspaper had been pushed into the window but it did not help the window from shaking. I showed this to maintenance as it is un interuped sleep with the wind howling through the window. 4. Kitchen: The kettle and toaster are aged. The inside of the kettle was stained and the cord going into the back of the kettle has the bare wiring exposed.
Tiny bathroom very poorly lit. Pillows aweful. Like big stuffed duffle bags so impossible to use. Not a single glass in the place so I had to drink my wine from a coffee mug!!! Getting a parking ticket very awkward. These things spoil what could otherwise have been a very nice place
Spacious room. Nice view
very expensive compared to the service offered. no WiFi No safe to store your valuables in the room. Kitchen is very poor and old. I couldn't even use the oven.
People at reception are very welcoming and helpful. View is great
Pillows uncomfortable, catlery needs attention
Supportive staff, extra needs caterd for, house keeping super, very convinient location
Bathroom and kitchen require an upgrade Carpets in thge room need to be washed
The staff were very helpful and the views and location were superb
It's a self catering apartment but their stoves are very very old and in my room 204 it was on and off we couldn't use it
Thanks to Keegan for organising an early check in...he's the sweetest front desk person ever.
