This family-run property offers a rock pool surrounded by lush sub-tropical gardens. Gecko Lodge is set on a 35-hectare farm with a walking trail to the Sabie River and is 5 minutes’ drive from Hazyview. All of the individually decorated rooms feature a bright décor, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. Some have views of the gardens from a private balcony. There is an à la carte restaurant with open fireplace that serves breakfast and 3-course dinners. A coffee shop is available throughout the day for snacks and drinks. Free Wi-Fi access can be enjoyed in public areas such as the shared lounge. Nature walks and bird watching can be done on site and the Phabeni Gate entrance to Kruger National Park is 15 km away. Nice chilled out hotel with friendly and informative staff. The driveway is a bit tricky.

The dinner was romatic ie.outside with candle lights. The breakfast is healthy. You breath fresh air from the Sabie river. The fact that you can deposit the money instead of using a credit card that's what make me to choose it. The rooms do'nt have a ceiling & there was a storm around 00:00 on the 26/12/12 so we could not sleep with all that noise.

De locatie is prima, niet ver van Kruger en Gideon en Anja zijn super gastvrij. Heerlijk gegeten en erg gezellig verblijf. Alles wordt gedaan om het je naar de zin te maken! Niets

Owners are extreamly helpful Excellent location - with in rain forest Other locations are near by via excellent drive route Non customer friendly cancelation policies Major infrastructure modification to be done Lot to be done witht toilet facilities
