Glendower View Guest House  

very nice twin room, clean, nice brekkie, helpful staff, good price-quality rate, safe. close to golf too. everything fine, we'll be back!

only small details: wifi connection a little jumpy at times and unreliable. shower leaks water outside the box, water flow from the tap of sink was somehow very noisy.

I was upgraded to a room with my own bathroom facilities.

I was uncomfortable at the idea of having to share a bathroom with other guests? I might be mistaken but on arrival I was told that I was upgraded to a room with a bathroom? Not to sure if this means all the other rooms had no bathrooms?

Nothing particular to the Guest house but quite difficult to find food since the guest house can only provide breakfast.

The decor was good and although the room was clean there is maintenance that needs to be done to keep it a 4 star stay. The grounds were pleasing but where is the view? Amu was friendly and she gave us a good breakfast.

To be met at the door by someone preoccupied on their phone was not very welcoming. We rang the bell a couple of times at the gate and eventually I had to phone to announce our arrival and we were told to hoot. The spill mark at the front door was very unappealing. The rooms are advertised as having coffee and tea in the rooms which was not the case. The urn was not even on when we arrived and we had to search for milk ourselves. The bar fridge was also not in the rooms as advertised and in fact I never actually saw a bar fridge at all. The door handle of the bathroom was falling out and the soap dish was falling of the wall as well.
