The setting is peaceful and relaxing.The Chalet was very clean the grounds well maintained. the landlord and his wife were perfect hosts, all in all it was a great stay in Paarl Thank you very much Rob & Colleen from Pietermaritzburg

We had a "special" service when we arrived: although there is no possibility for a dinner in the accomodation, we spontaneous received an absolutely delicious 3-course dinner incl. wine tasting. In addition to that the hints what we can do during our 3-days-stay were also perfect. In a nutshell: We had a lovely stay and we absolutely recommend this accomodation!

Kim and Heather were great hosts, and a really efficient team, Kim doing the cooking and the front of house, while Heather ran the back office. They have a lovely house, and provide a great place to stay, looking out over the vineyards and the distant mountains. A bit too far out of town to walk up to the restaurants, so we had to nominate a designated driver.

Our hosts were very helpful, even taking us to the restaurant in the evening. Breakfasts were fabulous and the backdrop of the mountains was to be seen to be appreciated. Fully recommend, its a delightful establishment. Lack of electrical points.

Setting and views of vineyards and mountains. Breakfast. Terrific proprietors who are accessible, helpful and eager for your visit to be a good one. Paarl is definitely the place to stay in the Winelands...still has the feel of a farming village versus the feel of tourist land you get in Franschoek. Restaurants are spectacular--hard to believe you will eat better at the more celebrated ones in Franschoek and Stellenbosch. You potentially sacrifice some privacy if you stay in several of the rooms in the main building. Cottages are more private though I assume higher in cost.

My fourth stay at Goedemoed. One of the best inns in South Africa. Fantastic views over the vineyards, yet very close to Paarl's mall and numerous restaurants. Kim and Heather are great hosts. Restaurants.ellent Tv channel selection very limited.

We enjoyed the stay and the owners were vairy nice however, I think the price for what we got was a bit steep however, it is the going rate for the area. Cant think of anything negative room was nice would just have prefered a proper double bed instead of two single beds pushed together.

Loved the stay in the garden room that had a pleasant patio area overlooking the vineyard as well as the lawn overlooking the pool. Nice breakfast. Location is very good also being close to the Paarl Mall. Would definitely stay here again if we revisit the wine lands. Room Tip: Garden room was very good.
