Had a great time. Thank you for the enjoyable experience!
Only one small thing. The 2 single beds used as a double had some uncomfortable areas. Espacially down the middle of the bed!!!!!
Luxury lodge was excellent Food 7/10, not exceptional
Smell of sewerage, septic tank where we stayed in lodge 4! Some of the staff, should not be in hospitality, unprofessional and unfriendly!
Perfect place to relax, good food and well run. The Spa is well worth 2 visit. Thanks to Leon, Doctor, Yvonne and the rest of the team for being excellent hosts! We will be back :)
Friendliness and professionalism of all the staff at the lodge. My group of 4 loved the experience
Only staying one night, should've stayed longer!
enjoyed the privacy and the quietness and the spa.
No TV/radio in the room Game drives and spa are overpriced for the local market.
friendly staff spacious room rooftop bar
limited choice of breakfast quite small restaurant
The chalets are overprized and not value of money compared to similar facilities in the vicinity.

Fantastic the lodge was everything I expected. The staff were friendly. Warm atmosphere never wanted to leave it was like you were hanging out with a bunch of friends it was so welcoming. Food was so good with variety. Loads of tours to choose from and the Spa was the perfect place to relax and have a massage after a game drive. Thank you to all the staff at the lodge for making my stay memorable.
Variety of activities available - safaris, trips Helpful and knowledgeable staff
Limited menu Poor wifi Power outtages
i like the environment and the privecy of the place
Staff, especially Doctor, Operational \manager, was excellent!
Our Bush chalet No. 8, not equipped for comfortable stay, in the sense that Ii had to place all my luggage as well as Toilet \bags etc. on the ground. No table except for Table with all the coffee goodies. No space for anything else. Very uncomfortable. Same with bathroom. Everything on the ground! Food was good but Price of dinner totally overpriced.
All the staff were consistently accommodating and highly attentive. Every one of them seemed to enjoy offering help whenever possible and expressed genuine interest in you having the best stay possible.
Excursions offered through / organized by the hotel were extremely over priced - especially for locals
friendliness of staff, assistance with booking excursions, food and drink, room cleanliness.
food in buffet
Great place to stay if you want to get away from it all. The staff were helpful and friendly. We loved our stay there!
everything is old the food was not up to standard too expensive for what you get
The prettiness of the main lodge and our own room.
We couldn't see the bottom of the pool - suggesting that its never cleaned. The rooms need wifi and TV with international channels (we were travelling with small children) nice touches would be to have a DVD library and family games etc.
The food and the service we received from the lodge was excellent. The management and staff go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
I was a bit dissapointed as to the location of the lodge. The website is misleading in the sence that it describes the lodge to be in a park with the Big 5 animals, a gym close by ect. Marloth park has a lot of residetial stands where people build holiday homes. This takes away from the "bush" experience".
Dinner Saturday night a big disappointment and we were treated very unprofessionally by displaying dessert on buffet only to be told that it was for other quests. Waiter tried so serve me a muffin with icecream and tried to convince me that it was Malvapudding I have asked for Sorry but that didn't do it for us
No TV No Fan airconditioner not efective, cost of beverages R18.00 for coldrink, R35 fro 3 scoops of icecream?
The staff are wonderful and really care about making your stay memorable. Very child friendly with the Chalet's positioned so that you have complete privacy. At night you have Dinner under the stars with a lovely firepit. The cleanliness is of a very high standard and the peace and tranquil setting is so relaxing... We highly recommend as a very reasonably priced accommodation 20 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge entrance.
The rooms are nice.
Not well suited for families. Location is not good.
GKL IS A GEM! The staff are wonderful! Every staff we worked with went a ove and beyond to take care of us! The lodge offers various day and night safaris, as well as non-safari activities. The food is top notch! This is a warm and welcoming place.
