The staff is Green Gables greatest asset, Christopher, the owner, Evelyn and Geneva met our every need with prompt and friendly service. Our room was comfortable and exactly as described. The bedding, the kitchen facilities and the bath were of high standards, exceedingly comfortable. Christopher arranged shuttle transportation, Evelyn helped us contact our family at the hospital and Geneva kept the room immaculate and organized. It was a bit farther from the Sunninghill Hospital than we estimated from GoogleMaps, but not too much of a challenge. We would recommend this property to anyone who needs to travel north of the CBD of JoBurg. Porridge :-) That's a joke. Hot cereal is a treat for us when the temperature is -20C. The weather here is what we consider late spring, so we preferred the croissants and meat and cheese. Christopher prepared a great breakfast. Just get adapted to the South African culture. Accept what you enjoy and make choices when their habits are different from what you find comfortable
