It was convenient to town. Served the purpose of our stay.
Room smaller than I thought and could have been a comfortable chair in the room.
Nice room, good breakfast, quiet neighborhood.
distance from restaurants
We liked all the rest.
Ad on internet said it had Dstv. We expected a full bouquet and not just a few poor channels. So, I did not like the TV facilities. Smell of deodorizer in toilet was overwhelming and extremely annoying.
The friendliness off the owners Adam and Brenda. Beautifully decorated Good breakfast
Brenda and Adam were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was comfortable with a nice en suite bathroom - lovely shower. There is a kettle with tea and coffee in the room which is great. The highlight was the delicious breakfast served in the breakfast room. Fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomato, toast, etc etc etc. There is parking close to the rooms which overlook a pretty courtyard.
Premises wasn't appealing and had no greenery whatsoever. Felt a bit like industrial building.
I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE B&B...EXCELLENT HOSTS AND VALUE FOR MONEY
Area first Environment Safety Clean rooms and beding beautiful wiew nice breakfast Friendly owner
Nothing at all
The general attitude of the owners. The arrangement of the room. The quality and size of the breakfast
No complaints at this stage
Very friendly staff, great breakfast, good bed
poor TV, small bathroom
The convenient of the place and the room...that was ready for me though i arrived late. Breakfast fabulous!!! would definately call again with my family.
A very clean family-run B&B. Good breakfast and very polite owners. Adam always smiled and laughed heartily. The hostess was lovely and accommodated my wife for her vegetarian preference for breakfast quite well.
We went in July went it was quite cold - the air conditioning helped when we set it to high temps but the hostess wasn't happy about us leaving it on all night despite the cold. No heating alternative was provided.
I felt welcomed and staff were very kind.
Was extremely a pleasant stay.
Not much. Dstv could improve.
Brenda and her husband where the most hospitable friendly, helpful people I have ever had the pleasure and fortune to find in my travels. Should I ever have the privilege to travel through George again, my first port of call will be "Green Pastures". A wonderful experience from good people.
location. cleanliness, breakfasts, very pretty, well maintained property. kind, friendly hosts. Good, comfortable accommodation.Safe parking.
noise in the bedroom from the next door shower being used!
Good clean and comfortable. Real value for money. Very friendly owners. I recommend this b and b anytime.
We were warmly welcomed. Our room was private, spacious, clean, comfortable. Breakfast in the specially built was delicious, English breakfast, or continental to choice. Convenient to fuel, laundry, hairdresser, food. Eat at 'The Rose', delightful, querky restaurant.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!
Excellent accommodation, everything spotlessly clean, and a really excellent breakfast, which I particularly enjoyed, set me up for lunch. Owners had once lived and owned a business in our home town, so we had a lot to chat about!
Regrettably the directions and map provided online were not very accurate, as Union Street? No longer exists, has been renamed. After leaving the n2, visitors should be told to drive towards York road, turn left at the Caltex Garage on the left hand side, and follow the signs to Green Pastures. So please update the directions to find Green Pastures!!
Brenda made us really feel at home and went out of her way to make it as comfortable for us as possible. Thank you Brenda for arranging everything for the braai that we had there. We will definitely be back again.
Everything was superb.
Was just a pleasant.
The accommodation was neat and clean. The bathroom was especially nice. The breakfast is a hearty one.
The taste of the water.
