Facilities are old and need maintenance. Amenities are very basic.

The restaurant was great, the food was just superb and some of the stuff we're friendly. I enjoyed dinning at the restaurant. The rooms were clean enough.
The hotel rooms were substandard, more like a 1 star level. Both the rooms in was put in had poor kitchen facilities, no utensils at all, even upon request. The toilets seemed to flow nonstop, nothing was done even after reporting. Also as single female traveler, there were times when I felt unsafe at night. The stuff at the reception were not that friendly.
The Restaurant,Spa and Hospitality were excellent. Thank you Greenwood.

Came with late flight to book in we stood 45min for the unit to be open. the place was so dirty and stinking me and my husband did not use the toilet or bathroom because of the state it was in. I didnt even brush me teeth there. Was soo sick sneezing and....... I had to book in by the Courtyard Hotel, really.......

No chair or couch in room (had to take one from the restaurant). Shower leaked all over the floor Shower/toilet door broken in two pieces so can't close and you can't get privacy from the kitchen. Two windows could not be closed Staff bus made a noise outside my room at 6.30 - idling for 10 mins, beeping while reversing whilst turning. This is easy to resolve with a bit of thought

We loved the warmth exuded by the staff and in particular the Spa. Enjoyed the pampering and the professionalism. I mean even the waiters and receptionists were friendly and actually felt at home away from home. Honestly the people are all just amazing, I would go back because of them!
The room, maybe because it's in winter, was cold despite there being a heater. Some windows were not closing properly, thereby allowing the cold air in. The door handle on the main door to the room was a problem to lock and even open from inside. The tv remote was not even the correct one. Attention to detail needed. Had to ask for toilet paper every time and replenishment of the tea and toiletries was nil. Even the food, room service was terrible, on our first night such that I then dreaded using the restaurant afterwards.

1. the staff were not professional 2. it was a bit costly 3. no one was willing to do any favours concerning dinner or breakfast. 4. no remote for easy entry or exit, we had to wait too long outside on the street to be buzzed in.
The hands-off attitude/approach works well as there was never any univited intereference of any nature. Noise - the place is quiet.
The bathroom wash basin taps in the room need to have the rubbers changed as they do not close properly. If a lady or young child closes them they will waste lots and water, this needs urgent attention. The towls have seen better days and their quality could be better. These things I say in the spirit of contributing towards the value that the lodge offers to guests and I hope it will be taken that way.

Parking, Staff very kindly and helpfull.
Soon we arrived we heard the hotel was full and there was no booked room for us.So, they arranged an hotel, not so far, but much more expensive.As we rented a car, we returned to the Greenwood Manor and we requested a phone to call booking.com. Surprisingly they got a room for us.That room was different from the one booked for us.Even so, we accepted. As we complained, they offered us a discount of 10%.They told us it was caused because we didn´t got an e-mail sent for them, where they had requested an autorization to the payment of 50%. For us, that payment was obvious when we booked this hotel.We hope no one had this kind of trouble as we had.It cause stress, waste time and petrol. If you have no car, who will pay the taxi to go to the hotel, to the other hotel and return to the first one?
The staff were great and the bed clean & comfortable.
This place is shocking. Absolutely NO attention to detail. No hot water to shower. No globe in the (only) bedside lamp. They offer a room with a balcony, what balcony? How this place gets 3 stars I do not know. I would not recommend to anyone. The kettle did not work, no coffee in the room, no glasses etc. We were going to stay for 3 nights but left after the first. I could go on but will not. Will never stay here again.

The room was sub - standard. The toilet was dysfunctional. The tv was blurring pictures. The bed was not soft.
We loved the Atmosphere and the whole setup of the Area and the place. Their facilities were amazing and their staff are all very friendly.

The staff was not helpful at all. They couldnt provide me the code for safe, was not informed of resturant times and bouced when i wanted dinner. When i checked out i discovered i had a resturant bill from the resturant which i do not know.

The ad on bookings.com includes: "Satellite Channels" giving the impression that the room has multiple DSTV channels when in fact it does not. It receives it's single DSTV channel from the common TV and therefore is controlled in the common area and not the room. No TV remote.
no guest information, assistance denied when i wanted to straighten my clothes in the morning, allocated not in the room i booked and it was not clean, shower size very small, suitable for children.
