Balbina is very friendly and staff are helpful. The location of the guest house is good. Our room looked very nice; high thatched roof and modern design. The rooms aren't very soundproof; we could hear our "neighbours" snoring all night. There is no DSTV - only one German channel. The TV also isn't working very well - it's very slow and "freezes" often. Breakfast - I think breakfast should be included in the price, I also think that the breakfast isn't good value for money and would not recommend having it at the guest house.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Went through a lot of trouble to help and give advice when needed. Well located to explore the local area. The bed in our room was one of the comfy-ist we have even slept in!

The owners were very friendly, helpful and pleasant people. When we arrived we were offered a drink and they sat down with us to explain all the things to do in the area. Reservations/bookings were made by them. Next morning they served a wonderful breakfast! It was one of the nicest rooms/guest houses we had stayed at in the country - and we stayed at many hotels/guest houses all over sa. For the price is offers definitely a high standard too!

Zeer goede ontvangst uiterst verzorgd verjaardag van mijn echtgenoot,zelfs attentie jacket vergeten en opgestuurd naar Cape Town

Mooi guesthouse, ruime, lichte, zeer comfortabele kamers. Goede uitvalsbasis voor wijnroute. Goed ontbijt (wel extra betalen) en op afspraak heerlijk diner. Extra betalen voor ontbijt (bed & breakfast?) en internet (ouderwets). Gastvrouw en heer erg aardig, maar spreken slecht Engels (Duitstalig)

I think at the price breakfast should have been included. The other B&B's we stayed at were less expensive more luxurious and included full english breakfast.

Wir waren leider nur 2 Tage zu Gast. In diesen Tagen haben wir tolle Tips erhalten und eine tolle Landschaft kennengelernt. GuBas De Hoek liegt recht zentral im Stadtgebiet. Alle waren sehr bei der Sache und insbesondere die beiden Eigentümer und Betreiber sehr herzlich. Man würde hier keine 10 Tage verbringen (Umgebung), aber es ist ein schöner, netter und sauberer Anlaufpunkt.

Lovely room under thatch with comfy beds, nice linen and tea/coffee facilities. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Open bathroom ceiling. Saturday night activities in Robertson, with public address systems, were noisy all night.
