Lovely couple who run the farm and guest accommodation.Very welcoming and helpful. Super swimming pool .
Need to have candles or gas lamps when there is an 'outing' of electricity.
Great breakfast Very nice grounds Kids loved their very gentle dogs We didn't notice our flat at first but the owners' son pointed it out to us and he arranged for a tire change - very grateful!
Due to the owners' families visiting, they did not offer dinner during our stay - this is very understandable, but given the distance to dining options it was a challenge for a family with small children. Make sure you check ahead if you would like to eat in. Rooms are simple but comfortable Wifi coverage a bit spotty
very welcoming owners and relaxed atmosphare. A nice Breakfast. Great place to stay for a safari.
- breakfast - Nita and Mike - the dogs - outdoor shower
- VERY bumpy, non-avoidable, access road - dusty room - bath loses water
Mike and Nita very friendly and will visit again.
Lovely place in the Orange Plantages, very nice dogs
A Huge thank you to Mike and Tina loveley stay we had!
- Best stay on our trip! - Beautiful room (Lemontree) - Excellent staff - After arrival received a delicious homemade lemonade! - Lovely garden, lemon + orange orchards
Close to addo purpose of our visit
The hostess, Nita, made us feel very welcome. This is a beautiful place nestled between citrus orchads. I would be very happy to go back!
The owners were very friendly and helpful in assisting with options to spent the day and making bookings. They made conversation when the situation required but also did not intrude on my privacy. I loved the setting, atmosphere and the dogs. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, thank you!
There were some spiders in my room and bathroom ... The wi-fi was very slow. The farm workers made too much noise in the morning. I had to ask for toilet paper to be replenished instead of it being checked and done before I asked.
Very friendly hosts, really tasty dinner prepared by Nita upon request, breakfast pack if you check out early. Fresh air and nice territory. As it was said before you feel like in oasis. 30min drive from Addo Elephant park.
Be careful not to choose forest road to the farm. Overall road quality is quite bad. Wifi signal is poor in the room. Just for the note - as it's a farm you'll find a lot of insects in the room (bugs, spiders, mosquitos etc).
best B&B we ever stayed, very nice hosts, friendly and intrested in their guests, great location with lemon and orange trees, small lake and beautiful garden and rooms
Pleasant setting in the lemon orchards.
very close to ADDO national park, very idyllic location. nice, clean, well looked after property (farm). we had dinner at the porch with the other guests - felt like a big family! best stay ever, Mike and Nita are very nice hosts (and good cooks as well!)
the owners,comfortable beds
no facilities in bedrooms,no wardrobe in 1 room wardrobe in second room but no hangers.1 tiny bar of soap in bathroom nothing else.Breakfast was poor compared with other places we have stayed. No TV anywhere.
A beautiful place! Lovely location, very peaceful, wonderful breakfast and incredibly welcoming hosts. Thank you very much for making our stay so memorable.
very cosy and friendly - missed the breakfast as we had to leave early - but were given a breakfast package - only stayed 1 night on way to Addo, but would recommend to stay at least 2 nights to be able to experience the place properly
Nice, peaceful, quiet place
Wifi signal very bad. Rooms could be more clean. The Gravel Road is very bad- potholes and really bad conditiones for a regular car.
A nice relaxing place
A bit difficult to find. Some distance away from retaurants. You should let know before if you would like to have diner on arrival !
Very nice place, nice rooms and lovely furniture. Great hospitality, very good breakfast and meals. 3 funny dogs to play with.
It is a wonderful and silent/calm place - but not very easy to find and to get to. And unfortunately there are no restaurant and shops nearby - but Happy Lands itsself offers very good breakfast and dinner. So you need to know this in advance.
Fantastic rural location. Our children loved the garden and the pool. The friends of the owner, running the place, were so friendly and nice. The breakfast was lovely and our two rooms were quaint. Also thanks for booking us a restaurant.
We found it difficult to find as the sat nav and multimap don't recognise address, only a suggestion but maybe idea to include directions or grid co ordinates. However, locals pointed us in right direction.
Nice layed back cottage Very quiet on a orange/citrus farm! Delicious home cooked food from owner Good parking spot
Dust road on the last 1km Not much todo in that area except of addo np
A very beautiful place to stay and visiting the Addo Elephant Park.
