Lorenzo was so helpful
Not well signposted to the hotel making it very difficult to find.
That there was no one to assist with luggage on our arrival.
Excellent location. Loved the interior!
Pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff
Especially the very good service of reception
The restaurant sevice
The bed The friendly reception staff and porter
The service at breakfast
The noise of the trucks from the harbour side
The Porters were very very helpful and provided 100% assistance
-Paying for parking -Paying for breakfast Paying extras for a service is not a good pricing, psychologically it is just hard to accept...i would not have minded paying R1500 for all the services i need or entitled to as a guest
Modern looking facility, with secure parking, ideal for a base for our business meetings all over Cape Town CBD and surrounds.
Basin semi blocked
noisy container port
the food at the restaurant was great and the staff very helpful
internet expensive and not reliable but finally it was fixed. Also not really walking distance to waterfront which was suggested on web page also not really water views just a canal
Looking out at a vacant lot and the smell! Very expensive breakfast.
Close and within walking distance of CTICC.
Not ideal location for walking to the Waterfront, particularly at night.
Very clean, new building. Servers in the dining extremely pleasant.
Not advised in hotel literature that to get to the Q&A Waterfront one took the Canal Cruise boats. When asked about walking, reception said it was too difficult. In our suite, the bathroom was put of the bedroom. We were 2 travellers sharing a room - and this did not give us privacy - one sat in the living room while the one could shower. Reception tried hard but did not always follow thru - we asked for information on trains - never given to us. Our suite faced the port - so we had a wall of containers facing us, and one night they worked thru the night - rather noisy.
Lovely views. Proximity to City Bowl & Waterfront. Low noise levels. Well-appointed rooms. Friendly service. Value for money.
The water taxis on the canal should run until at least 9 PM to cater for people who visit the Waterfront for dinner.
The staff were well-mannered
We paid for a "luxury suite" but it was a much smaller room than portrayed in the pictures
It was a very convenient hotel, well placed and great value for money...
The hotel is exceptionally clean and quite!!! It is very convenient to get down to the waterfront via the canal taxi that leaves from the hotel.
The location was great, the staff were very helpful and professional. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and colleges
I have no negative comments
The one bedroom suite was large, new and elegantly decorated. The beds were wonderfully comfortable! There were some mix ups with my reservation and the front desk staff willingly upgraded my room to compensate for this.
The website made it sound possible to walk to Waterfront. This is not actually possible and the drive requires you to backtrack through the city. However a water taxi service runs every 20 min from hotel along the canal, which the children loved. Also the staff may need some more training, though they were all very gracious.
beds interior view setting
absence of parking space at reception
