Score from 57 reviews Very good
Was not given back my additional deposit (in case of any bar fridge use) at checkout. Had to travel back to the hotel the next day to get it. Requested a honeymoon setting when initially booking. (Booked telephonically) But did not receive any of the treatment. Room was plain.
I found the customer service very poor
Every thing about the hotel
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating right from when I entered till I left. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and the shuttle service helped getting around in the city! Super comfortable bed and the XL shower and bathtub was some luxury away from home. I'll definitely stay there again!
The location is not optimal, but with the excellent shuttle service you can get wherever you need to be. Although the breakfast offering was varied, the quality and standard could be improved of some items. Wifi is offered but usage is capped..not ideal un today's world.
Rooms were clean
Someone woke us up at 5.30AM with an accidental wake up call.
Beatiful appointed rooms with view of table mountain (some), great breakfast buffett, attentive service
Slow check-in, unattractive executive lounge in the mezzanine without view
The room was clean nd neat, The shuttle was on time nd the driver friendly.
The noise that eminates from the Signal Hill Lounge late at nite. I found it to be disturbing and annoying. That's not what u expect from an upmarket hotel.
Staff excellent, breakfast excellent, shuttle to v and a, shower in bathroom excellent
Good facilities. Not matched by database management.
We were asked for cvv of credit card and they threatened to cancel reservation if not paid. This was inspite of providing card details on booking.com. Had to inform over the telephone before they would confirm reservation. They Claimed breakfast was not included even though it clearly was in the confirmation from booking.com. This Was a hassle at the time of checking out and it took a few minutes of arguing before they cancelled the charges.
attentive staff and generally good service
with the exception of one inconvenient bar the hotel is dry ( non alcoholic )
The comfortable beds. Delicious food....
Good Food Friendly staff Excellent reception Clean Got upgraded to a bigger room which was lovely.
The staff were very helpful. The location was good, just out of the centre, but handy for the City sightseeing bus. The room was very spacious and comfortable and breakfast and lunch at the Bistro bar excellent. Parking was convenient and good value. The poolside lounge and restaurant was cosy and good.
Not much.. pool a little small and the room a little noisy in the daytime (1st floor.. shame for the view on Table mountain.. Probably 1st floor on the main road would have been quite noisy .. met some guests who changed room for that.......
This hotel and the Executive Lounge are Far away from normal Hilton Standard . Service at front Desk with regard to Check in and email Services very poor
Executive lounge was just so convenient.
Our booking was not found. We had to wait long at reception waiting for staff to sort it out.
Welcoming and friendly staff, nice, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable room. Nice views of the Table Mountain.
The balcony was unusable, too small and you couldn't actually access it. We paid more money to have a balcony which turned out to be just for decoration.
The hotel il located walking distance from the most part of Cape Town attractions. Rooms are very clean and super comfortable. The breakfast is of great quality and variety. They have a room for complimentary aperitif very pleasant. Staff is always available for any need you may have. It has a garage from where you can hire a car to visit the region. The Indian restaurant of the hotel is excellent.
Staff v. helpful as our suitcases didnt arrive for 30 hrs.Free wifi excellent.
In room no teaspoon and nothing go put used teabags in. Bar service inconsistent
Staff was excellent, smile with eyes was something which not happen anymore even in Thailand. And everything what I needed, I got (with smile). Executive lounge service was great complement.
Free internet was too slow, even to read newspaper.
(1) Bar/ restaurant food + staff was excellent; reasonable priced. (2) Location great for being picked up in tours. (3) Rooms were alittle small; however, comfortable king size bed with great size bathroom with walk in shower + tub.
(1) Stayed 6 nights; had to ask door electronic key be replaced 5 times in 6 days. Never worked - inconvenient. (2) There on Valentines night in which we could not get a table. There should always be allowance/ room maintained for guests staying in the motel prior to booking 100% to outside guests. (3) Had to ask for beer/ wine to be added to the mini bar in which on checkout they tried to bill me for 3 bottles of wine which weren't even touched/ dranked.
The room was simply gorgeous
The room is big.
The breakfast is expensive and bad. The hotel is a little bit old. Should not be rated 4 stars.
The helpful and friendly staff
Good location (for us). Generally good, but let down on too many occasions. Junior staff often ignorant and way too easy for Waiters to say "we haven't got one". Room servicing was intermittent at best, with aspects overlooked every day. This became quote irritating.
Halal. No alcohol in restaurants. Woeful internet. If you like an alcoholic drink, don't stay here. Interestingly, there were no/very few South African guests when we stayed.
