Great property, amazing and spacious room and bathroom, and additional privet external areas, with shower and a nice balcony with a view! The restaurant is great, breakfast and dinner options, and drinks available. Staff as usual excellent with also very nice common areas.

Located on a secluded eco-reserve, Hitgeheim Country Lodge is an owner-managed lodge offering daily open safari vehicle drives into the Addo Elephant National Park where guests may experience viewing a variety of animal and elephants. The luxurious thatched rooms feature air conditioning and a seating area. Offering a balcony or patio with a view, each room includes a mini-bar and complimentary toiletries. Hitgeheim serves an English breakfast daily and the dining area serves traditional South African cuisine including venison dishes,BBQ's as well as gourmet set-menus with a selection of wines on the terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside. The lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace offering panoramic views across the valley. They can also arrange safaris to nearby game reserves like Schotia. Port Elizabeth Airport is 1 hours’ drive away.
