What marvellous caring staff at reception! Top Marks! Excellent breakfast included. Great rooms, modern and fresh, spacious, clean.Great location on a mall. Good value for money if you score a special rate on the Web. Very nice towels and linen changed each day.

I thought they would have extended the Internet rate we had for three nights when we wanted to book for an additional two nights

i liked the rooms . the hotel was nice and quiet .

i didnt like the fact on the night we arrived we were sitting in the bar lounge and there was a member of staff setting the tables for breakfast, she had a very bad cold and was sneezing over everything, which resulted in us refraining to go to breakfast for the two mornings

the hotel is comfortable enough, the rooms are ok.

the internet service is a joke. these days everyone needs internet and the hotel does not get this. They charge exorbitant sums and make money out of an internet service that fails often and is not good or reliable. further, the TVs in the rooms are also a joke for 1. the type of hotel (holiday inn) and 2. the room rates. it isn't a recurring expense so im sure they could do better. as it is the room rates are too high for what the hotel really offers

No closets in the room - a little bit of an inconvinience for a four day stay. Same breakfast everyday- thetre should be some change.

The only request they forgot : wake up me at 3.30 am as I asked because my plane was for 5 am. Give me the final bill without the heading of the hotel

The people guiding us to our parking space was very friendly and helpful. Even carried our bags to the lobby

The fact that your housekeeping staff knocked on our door at 08h30 on a Saturday morning asking for our dirty linen. While we were still almost sleeping and had not even taken a shower yet. She looked a bit agitated with us and proceeded to knock on all the other doors asking for dirty linen. What about the people that are still sleeping?

The rooms were clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Beer was a good price.

Not enough Internet allocation. Some rooms very small. Very very small tv. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and beans every day, could that be changed now and then?

parking is disastrous, breakfast on weekend also A nightmare,staff at breakfast not helpful, had to wait for every thing,plates,food,cutlery. how can they have A maitenance guy serving food at breakfast with overalls.

Wi Fi does of work at all. You pay for a password which fail after some minutes. They claim you will have a time to use it according to your purchase (eg 30, 60 min). Go downstairs and use a lan house, very cheap and efficient!!!

Having our hire car given to another client, leaving us stranded on the morning of departure. Jonothan at Cape Gateway can provide the details. They did give us a lift to the airport and we caught our flight.

Our room was not cleaned onde day and we had to report it twice before the cleaning staff responded. First time access...the Hotel's parking access is not very clear and I found it difficult to find the first time

The hospitality by Ms Edwards. She really made us feel at home.She is so friendly and professional. I would definitely go back to the hotel

I felt that the buffet breakfast did not have a lot of options.I missed my bacon and cheese.

The staff were all really friendly and available to assist where I had problems. The rooms were lovely...

But some of the carpets were stained and while that is unavoidable with age it was the only thing that took away from the overall aesthetic appeal of the room.

Very bad signs to find hotel we went past the hotel 4 times before sign was noticed roads were closed very noicy room did not sleep 1 hour during night of 19th jan 13 - wasted money when we complained the girl advise us to ask for a quiet room we did a booking on internet - unacceptable!!! She could told us beforehand when we checked in breakfast sausages ice cold! No teaspoons on table egg variety poor!

Desiree at the front desk was extremely patient and helpful!

Check-in time stated 2pm, however some of us were not able to check in until 3pm.

Very good value for money

Staff tidied away the Breakfast items before 9.30 and were more interested in people finishing up quickly so they could do their jobs.

Location, friendly staff, decent breakfast, quite neighborhood, nearness to waterfront and other tourist attraction, safety,etc.

Wifi time offered complementary should be unlimited and not just 30 minutes.

It is incredibly hard to find by car - there is not good signage for the hotel and the roads are difficult to navigate.

Very good central location. Rooms were clean and bright and fairly spacious. The staff were very efficient and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Mandela Rhodes Place opposite the hotel has a really good Italian restaurant 'Doppio Zero' - there is also an atm in the lobby of Mandela Rhodes Place which is a very safe place to withdraw cash. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

You need to be cautious about venturing out on foot after dark. Parking is available at a cost but getting in and out of the car park is a challenge not to scrape the car if you've got anything bigger than an Opel Corsa.
