Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City Centre

Personeel was servicedbereid en kwam snel in actie bij voorkomende problemen.

Eerste nacht in twijfelaar, terwijl bij boeking een ruime kamer in vooruitzicht werd gesteld met 2 twijfelaars. Kregen na klacht onmiddellijk een andere kamet met 2 bedden, maar deze was gelegen op bovenste verdieping met veel lawaai van airco. Moesten daarnha weer verhuizen.

Mooi in het centrum en dichtbij een taxi standplaats. En het restaurant tegenover het hotel had heerlijk eten.

The front desk staff were both courteous and understanding considering my comments in what I didn't like about the hotel. It seems that they are left to deal with mistakes made by the back office! The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff in the dining area very efficient. Although rooms are designed for business travellers with little storage space they are kept clean and ours at least was very quiet.

This is a big complaint. I don't know who is to blame but Holiday Inn Express Cape Town certainly laid the blame at Bookings.com's feet.In short they had no knowledge of my booking when I called three days prior to my arrival to book an airport transfer. A local friend spoke, eventually, to the manager who made a new booking for us. When we arrived that booking too was not available. The duty receptionist, Ricardo, was very helpful but when he allocated us a room it was found to be used, rumpled bed, towels on floor etc. Eventually although we had booked a twin room we had to accept a double. Although a written complaint was made and emails had passed between us the manager neither bothered to talk to me or respond to same.

The location was very central, the view from our room was fantastic, very security conscious.

Yes, it looks as though we may have been charged twice by the hotel. Once, from my credit card and again when we checked out. Rooms were very clean and reasonably sized. Good location in the city. Breakfast was reasonable with variety.

This hotel is in the city center and very easy acess to every where.

A pleasant stay with pleasant staff.

You can easily hear the noise of the elevator system from the rooms which are close to it. Other than that, the room service and the continental breakfast were very nice.

The internet is a rip off and needs to be address before i would come back, all business men that were there during my stay all complained about the price of the internet system. Reduce the price and i will be back

hotel is very nice, clean and bathrooms and rooms are equipped with latest amenities. building and lifts are excellent. real value of money.

location is not ideal for tourists. all the time you have to take taxi for shopping or sightseeing and even to go to waterfront.

The location of the Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City Center is perfect for a city trip. It's close to most of Cape Town's points of interest. Walking distance to the V&A Waterfront.

Hotel does not accept reservations for private parking. Private parking for cars and motorcycles is based on "first come, first served" scheme. Could be bothersome, since the hotel is located in the city center of Cape Town ... (was not an issue for me, I've got space in the underground parking)
