The location and value for money There was no toiletry in the bathroom. It took two phone calls to get them delivered. The shuttle to the Gautrain starts at 11am - what is the point? We had to drag our suitcases there;.

Really great hotel! The location is very good, only 5min walk to Mandela Square; internet is very fast and stable; breakfast is good; hotel staff is super friendly; skybar on the 9th floor is beautiful (but it's small and not many people usually); I did walk around the hotel alone during the day and evening without security problems The staff from the 24hours room service are the only ones not nice in this hotel and they take too long to deliver what I ordered; Orange juice = 30 minutes; Tiramisu = another 30 minutes; glass with ice = never came (even after I called complaining); they asked why I wanted ice! They are not suppose to ask why the customer wants something!

Next to the Sandton train station arriving from the airport and next to the shopping mall in Mandela Square. The city tours proposed by the Concierge were very expensive compared to other hotels nearby.

I found the staff very helpful during our second stay (21-22nd Sept), particularly Jarid on the reception desk and Stanley the Concierge. Its proximity to Nelson Mandela square makes it an attractive location for tourists. On our first stay I found the staff a little disorganised and despite having requested a cot on our email, it wasn't in the room and we had to wait for it to be erected.

Location wise it was excellent. Even without a car you had access to resturants and shops. During our stay aircondition in our room wasn't working. Considering being summer it wasn't pleasant at all specially at nights. We notified their maintanance they came twice but noyhing was sorted. On the first day their free internet service was working but it was faulty on the other two days of our stay. When asking they said there is a problem and we were told to buy internet from them to be able to check emails ect. If you had a car their parking was private and you had to pay an overnight fee of r40 for parking which I feel should be part of their charges and people should not pay over and above.

Location The service was poor from most of the staff. One morning the water system in the hotel failed so I could not shower. When I dialed from my room at any time it took the staff a long time to answer the call (there were normally four on reception any time). The service in the bar area was awfull, the staff payed little or no attention to guests who wanted to order coffee or snacks and I had to keep going up to the bar to order even then I was mostly ignored. The worst service I have had in a hotel for a long time, they need some serious training, I will find alternative accomodation next time I visit the country which I will be doing frequently in the future.

Infrastructure is good and the fascilities is good. But very poor service The life was miserable there because there was not water in bathrooms many times every day and answer is ridicules. The telephones are never atteneded like room service , house keeping , n reception .... may 1/20 may be attended if you are lucky... THE REAL BAD EXPERIENCE AND I NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. ALSO INFORM ALL MY CIRCLE THE BAD EXPERIENCE

Location of this hotel is excellent. Room are clean. No wow factory. Good 4 star hotel No complimentary breakfast. Check in time as it can take up to 2 hours so expect delays. The parking paying process as you have to stamp the card before you leave hotel. Make you remember work not good if you don't want to.

The breakfast hall and the friendly reception staffs. The Skye Bar barman is very friendly. There is no tv in the bar area. It would have been great to enjoy some drinks at the bar while watching the Rugby World cup. The Skye screen is a good idea but the light makes it difficult to watch.
