I was there for 4 days. The place is beautiful, located in an upmarket security estate. However, you do need a car to get anywhere.
The place is not advertised very clearly, so you're misled into thinking it's a hotel. Well, there's no reception really. There's a lady available in the morning only at breakfast and usually goes away at 11 am already.
Breakfast was very basic. Just cereals, juice, coffee and tea, and the chance to ask for eggs, omelette, sausages - not exactly five star!! The worst comes outside breakfast hours. There is no one on the premises, no service at all. The pool was nice but dirty. I complained and they said it is cleaned twice a week. A four-star hotel gets it cleaned every day! So if you want to be considered five star you should do at least the same. In addition, pool chairs and tables were covered with bird poo (also found on tables and chairs on the front deck of the hotel) and, in the 4 days I stayed there, no staff noticed that and cleaned it. Wifi was only decent in rooms, whereas was completely absent in the lobby, breakfast room and readong room.
The place is advertised for having a restaurant, which is not true. We were told they were thinking about opening it. So the only way to eat something (if you didn't want to go out) was to order food, which was a nightmare because the brochure they had wasn't updated so I had to stay half an hour on the phone to let the guy understand what I wanted (his brochure menu was different!). The conclusion is that you can't advertise a place for being five stars and then give no service. If I pay five stars I want five stars!!
