This B&B in the heart of the Addo Valley offers romantic accommodation on a working citrus farm. The surrounding garden has a swimming pool, and all rooms come with free Wi-Fi.

Owner stepped up and did find alternate accommodations when he realized he did not have the booking.com file on his records.
Owner did not have our reservation when we arrived and had to find us another alternative.
The food was absolutely fantastic Friendly hosts Right location for Addo
very friendly staff, the garden is exzellent, the dinner room and the meal, to Addo EP 18 min. with car
too many ants in the room; also in the ( unused) bed; Guesthouse heavy to find - it is outside in a farm area
Accomodation was clean, in a peaceful area with lots of trees. Great service.
It may a bit "hidden". We loved it, but for younger people it may be a bit too quiet.
Like how small and intimate it was .... Lawns were beautifully kept and our room was lovely and spacious with an excellent bath tub.
On out way there we has missed the turning so called the country house. The ownner (I believe) got kind if short and told me off that I was already given directions prior on email! I thought it was quite a rude start. But when we got there, he seemed ok.
The food and presentation was excellent, pool ideally sited in grounds.
Room in need of freshning up paint wise and small inadequate fridge.
Try to arrange the menu with the manager. Otherwise you might have a boring surprise
Everything from the decor to the food is exquisite - sumptuous while not quite pretentious. The atmosphere is tranquil with the very best in music always playing & the hosts are charming. The house is set in beautiful gardens laid out in such a way as to entice one to see what fresh delight is just round the next corner.
The set meal was always delicious - beautifully cooked & presented but my personal choice would be for more vegetables to accompany the meat of the main course - not a criticism, merely a comment. Also wish we could have been there for a concert - maybe we'll catch one next time.
The house and grounds are lovely. We took dinner in the evening which very well presented and good value. Very friendly host. Good calming background music.
Inadequate security safe and fridge in room.
Our toilet had been used and not flushed ...piddle may have been excused but not other!!!
Its a nice quite place with a friendly atmosphere. Its only a 10min.drive from the Addo Elephant Park.
The most critical point was that we found a used condom right next to the bed. We were not sure if they realy cleaned the room. After mentioning it at reception we didnt even get a apology, no discount nothing. Very poor reaction. The breakfast was small as well and everything took very long. They also serve breakfast only from 8.00 but you want to be in the National Park earlier.
Very nice place, friendly staff, excellent dinner
nice b&b with top host and very good breakfast
The building and the grounds were beautiful. The staff and owners were pleasant, accommodating and welcoming. The food was delicious.
The bathroom in our room had a tub that was difficult to get in and out of and no possibility to shower.
The quiet Classical music theme. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast, well served. Lovely gardens and convenient to Addo.
Gourmet dinner can not be classed as gourmet cooking although beautifully presented. Both evenings the main course was excessively sweet.
A very classy place Excellent breakfast including homemade bread! Very nice Staff
Driving up the lane to the house, we knew it would be special. Once we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful gardens and the casual elegance of the house. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and I especially loved the antique claw-footed bathtub. Dinner was A special treat, simple but gourmet. They have a nice intimate bar area with a good wine selection and excellent cocktails. A wonderful respite after time in busy Johannesburg and a more rustic game preserve.
The only thing we didn't like was that we could only stay one night.
The staff were exceptional. Well spoken, well managed. There was a theme of music ( well chosen classical) everywhere. The food was good, good accommodation. Great garden, with a little hidden lake, with trees full of weaver birds. Altogether a worthwhile visit.
- missed the turning the first time.

29TH JUNE SUNDAY MORNING: PATHETIC. BREAKFAST WAS DISGUSTINGLY BAD! COFFEE WAS SO BAD COULD NOT DRINK IT. TOAST SERVED 20 MINUTES BEFORE MEAL, ICE COLD. NO JAM ON TABLES OR FOOD COUNTER. SCRAMBLED EGGS COLD AND UN TASTEFULL NO SERVICE AT FRONT DESK AT ALL. NOT FOR COMPLAINTS OR CHECKING OUT. WINTER LINEN UNACCEPTABLE FOR WINTER TIME. NO MILK IN ROOM FOR MORNING COFFEE. USED OWN CREMORA TO HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE IN ROOM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. BAD MANAGEMENT!
Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere allowing us to comfortably do our own thing. The eating experience was excellent although too expensive to do every night
Missed having a desk to use our laptop at and not able to switch external lights on so walked to and from accommodation in the dark
The evening meals were outstanding cuisine and well worth a visit
Outstanding food...a real gourmet experience...beautiful gardens and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Loved the classical music with our meals
Overall the location and hospitality was excellent. We were made to feel welcome and this only assisted in making our stay a memorable one
We felt that on arrival the appearance of the front stoop of the otherwise lovely accommodation [bungalow] was sadly let down by the rather tired and shabby cushions/seating on the outside furniture.
My husband and I enjoyed the elegant surrounding and especially the classical music over dinner.
