Considering that we have two young children, we appreciated the addtinional space compared to normal hotel room. We also fancy the idea of self catering. The home theatre system was very useful and provided a lot of entertainment value for the kids. One get's the impression that it is not 100% complete and also not well maintained. There was only one tumbler glass and one teaspoon. The carpets were dirty. The access card failed twice. |

The hotel is ideal for a family with a baby, because of the facilities with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets at the same apartment, a good kitchen, a big living room and big dining room. All of this with a good price. There is a supermarket and a Cafe very near the hotel where we can have the breakfast. And at the sunday we have a good breakfast in another hotel very near the Icon Hotel. The distance to go to the Waterfront is very close and the taxis are cheap. The hotel only have ar-condicionair at the living room and doens't have inside the bedrooms. |

The design of the room was well thought out with a great modern look. The room was also well equiped- we enjoyed making our supper in the kitchenette and the surround sound to watch the movies on the tv. Felt like it could be made home easily! No phone, all shops in the building closed quite early- but not a huge problem being so central, except that it was raining the nite we were there! |

The internet reviews and pictures were very accurate, very comfortable and quiet accomodation and adequately clean with a friendly and helpful receptionist who gave us lots of advise with regards to touring cape town. It was a pleasure coming back to this hotel after a busy day of sighseeing there was a shortage of glasses and spoons and no iron |

The service offered by the maid (cleaning was including dishes, excellent!) and the design of the room (appartment), better than much appartments in Holland, owned by the people who live in it. Very, very nice place to stay... There was only a small reception and as far as I know not a restaurant or a bar or something like that. For me little bit a pity, although there are enough restaurants in the city... But for me it is always nice to have a nice entrance in/to a hotel and in Cape Town there is only the small reception and the lifts directly after it... |

Nothing at all. A very dissappointing experience we checked out after the first night to find better accomodation. Dusty rooms, terribly uncomfortable bed, poor airconditioning. Cheap sparse furnishings. We didn't even have a headboard! Very disappointing. |

very clean hotels,central location and safe area. all was great..,but somehow they had a bit of a problem with towels,which were never really replaced,one had to call them up,,this towel issue continued during our entire stay. |
