Grounds beautiful and accommodation was clean,tidy and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very informative.

I booked two room the one room nearest the pool - stove only had two plates that worked and control knobs very difficult to turn on and off. Microwave was rusted inside - very dangerous - chose not to use it.

Th proprietress went out of her way to help us. She was very friendly.

Location close to the edge of the village. Cleanliness.extensive useful information given by owner on arrival.

General appearance on entering the gate for the first time

The friendliness of the personnel. The set-up of the rooms 1 and 2 was very nice. Proximity to the knp, and the views across the river. Closeness of rooms to the lawns and river., As well as swimming pool. Proximity to Ngwenya Lodge and town of Komati Poort. Nice breakfast prepared at short notice, thanks. Honesty bar very nice!

Shower in room 1 was inoperative. Reported it on departure, and the staff were very apologetic and said they would sort it out after leaving. No gps coordinates available on website, but got it via mobile telephone upon request.

The pool is perfect and the 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious and will be excellent when renovated. Close to the end of the town it is perfect for a great run in the nature. The tree-house and trampoline was a big hit with the kids.

The constant smell of wet dog and the fact we have "lost" 3 pairs of shoes was a downer.

Friendly welcome. You get detailled info om what there is to do in the area. Brilliant. The garden is very peaceful, lovely pool. All well looked after. Comment from my teenage kids: the appartment looks super. Great shower!

View of the house when you arrive. Big brick house. No windows. Looks a bit dissapointinf for a second. But The beauty is on the garden side..

Friendly staff with a real passion for st lucia. Not only were we given a map, but each area was explained to us.

The kitchen was well equipped.

The bathroom facility were rather poor;no space to hang the cloth or to deposit the toiletry , no shampoo or soap provided. The fridge was defrosting, the kitchen floor wet, no one around to tell, no one at the reception.

Generally comfortable and quiet, in a wonderful setting.

I am speechless it magnificent and the manager was very helpful in everything. I would definately visit again and recommend it to anyone I know.

We asked the owner if we could move to another room, whereby we were told that the room we wanted had guests that afternoon, when we departed six days later nobody was in the lodge we requested. The Manager told us about all the services that are on offer, wehen my wife enquired about horse rides we were told that the Manager would come back to us, we are still awaiting a reply!

Ruhige Lage. 10 Minuten zu Fuss zum Zentrum (Nachts nicht, wegen den herumstreifenden Flusspferden!).

Betrifft "Hexenhäuschen MPATE": Keine Steckdosen in der Bonsai-Nasszelle und beim Spiegel im Schlafzimmer (Haare fönen). Sämtliche Mücken-Rollos defekt.

Den fantastiska omgivningen och närheten till både natur och hav.

Spisen o ugnen i lägenheten var inte att lita på.

Die Gegend hat uns gut gefallen. Die Lodge liegt im Grünen, das Umfeld ist sehr ruhig. Die Chefin war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider hatten wir eine seit 40 Jahren nicht mehr renovierte Wohnung. Die Küche und Bäder waren eine Zumutung. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach nur Pech, in der Lodge gab es auch Wohnungen, die in einem besseren Zustand waren. Außerdem gab es zu wenig Handtücher.

Les appartements sont confortables et bien décorés. La situation géographique est parfaite pour l'accès aux différents sentiers vers la forêt luxuriante que vers la mer. Nous y retournons en janvier avec mes parents!

L'équipement de la cuisine était plus ou moins fonctionnel et une odeur d'humidité douteuse dans la cuisine et les placards sont les seuls petits défauts que je peux trouver.

J'y ai occupé un petit appartement avec 3 enfants. La gérante s'est montrée très accueillante et m'a donné de larges explications sur la ville de st lucia et les environs (infos pratiques et touristiques). L'endroit dispose d'une piscine extérieure et de jeux en bois (plaine de jeux), idéal pour les enfants.
