The place is badly signposted - well there is no sign, from the N2 side all you see is a logo on a low wall far from the road and a dirt road, and from the other direction, you don't have anything to look out for. We used the nearby Carmel Centre as our landmark to find it. Also there are no written directions on the website. The cellphone and landline just rang so we were lost and nobody could assist. Eventually we even called nightsbridge to help, but even they only had a bit more info - that it was near a place called Paradise and its gps coordinates.
The communication is also not great - we requested single beds and when we arrived the lady apologised and said she forgot but if we still want single beds she will organise it. We are vegetarian but she did not ask and we were served a plate of meat for breakfast. There was no information telling us to leave our room keys in the box by the gate when we left, we had to struggle to find someone to ask as she was out. I found weavils in the muesli. I got bitten all over by insects, possibly spiders, while I was sleeping. The pool is only being built now so only advertise it when it is functional.
The actual location is good as it is right near the beach and is close to the N2 to George, Knysna, Wilderness. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms wheelchair friendly (good point to advertise to those who may need it)
