Courtesy of the staff, attentiveness, clean, professional but friendly atmosphere, predictably clean and comfortable room, very comfortable bed, terrific bathroom

A bit pricey even given its strong points, location not conducive to ease of visiting joburg sites and theater (not without an expensive car or taxi services)

The price. Not good value for money. The Da Vinci just across the road is the same standard and far cheaper. The appliances in the room. No instructions on how to use them. I figured the coffee machine out myself. The iPod player didn't seem to be plugged in and there was no way to get to the wall plug.

I got a 2pm checkout by joining the loyalty program. Who doesn't like miso soup and sushi in a breakfast buffet?? Grilled tiger prawns were great!

I was told I couldn't get a late checkout (past 11am) without paying for it. That's uncool. I suspect it was a ploy to get me to join a loyalty program. I had to change rooms because of 'fluid' coming through the roof of bathroom. It was the toilet room, so either water from the toilet above, or sewage from the toilet above. Both are bad, one it worse than the other. When I first complained, the staff member contacted didn't really care and said someone would be up to 'fix it soon' and only after maintenance looked at it would I maybe get a new room. The chronic signs of water ingress indicated that it wouldn't be fixed (peeling wallpaper, deformed molding, deformed plasterboard) - just something that had been going on for a long time and ignored. Poor. Very poor. Says a lot about your quality systems. When I went to the front desk an hour later and asked for a new room, it was taken care by the manager immediately, which was good. New room was fine, but that's not a plus, just a basic expectation that sewage doesn't end up in my room. I'll be back in JNB in 2 months, but I won't be staying there or recommending it to anyone.

The fact that it is connected to a major shopping mall is just awesome.

The service of the staff because one of the person from the staff took responsbility to organize a birthday suprise and nothing was done, the room's condition was freezing cause the heating system was not working, the dstv was not working and we were changed from one room to another at 1:30 am, it was ridiculous andthe price of the room was nothing cheap to get all the worst of it

My stay was excellent! The staff were amazing and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were quite clean and cozy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

8年ぶりに御礼も兼ねて宿泊しました。約8年前にヨハネスブルグのダウンタウンで強盗に命以外は全て盗られ- 警察も何もしてくれなかった時にパニックになりましたがタクシーにヨハネスブルグで一番有名なホテルに行け- と言ったらインターコンチネンタルに連れて行ってくれました。 フロントに事情を説明したところ支配人が対応していただきお金もパスポートもない私を信用してくれて全面的- にサポートしてくれました。 タクシー代金の支払い 警察もホテルに呼んでくれたりガードのストップ等々 全てす。 前回は5泊しましたが最初の1泊は何と無料にしてくれました。 その時に支配人が南アフリカを嫌いにならないで下さいと言われた言葉が心に響きました。 窮地に立ったときの対応がインターコンチネンタルの凄さです。 接客のレベルを超越した人情のある素晴らしいホテルなんです。

Excelentes diseño arquitectónico, atención y amabilidad del personal, habitación, restaurante, desayuno. Muy bueno que tenga conexión interna con un shopping muy lindo.

Para tomar el ascensor y dirigirte a tu piso lo debes hacer con la misma tarjeta - llave de la habitación. En el ascensor, esa tarjeta - llave no funciona muy bien. Esta bien el sistema por seguridad, pero debiera funcionar mejor el lector.
