Friendly owner and reasonable breakfast. Gardens lush.
Stayed with another couple, their cabin smelled damp, the water was brown, no air conditioning. Our cabin was very small and loo was a corner of the room screened by a bamboo sliding door, not very private. Shower extremely small and had black fungus. Location on noisy main road next to car sales garage. Everything needed updating. Moved on a day early.
the romantic atmosphere and friendly host plus the delicious breakfast
It would be nice if the bathroom can be a tiny bit bigger.
We stayed for 5 days and had a great time. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and we found lots to do in the area. Great.
The yard is beautiful
Direct next to a very busy road, rooms are not propper insulated, toilets are insanitary,
The couple who run this place are awesome. A loverly Welsh lady welcomed is an told us all we need to know about this wonderful town. The chalets are great and very unique. Also try the ribs at the pub oldies which is down the road. Also they have a really cool cat who is usually found in a plant pot out side or guarding reception.
Although it was cold the cabin was warm and comfortable. Everything very neat and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. Riaan and Helen made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed our stay in Knysna.
I can't think of anything we did not like !
+beautiful little cottage(!!!!!) +you feel like you're in the nature, but the city is just a few metres far away
We loved our stay at Inyathi. The rooms are situated in a lush, garden setting. It is a former artist colony and has retained the character and flair. We loved it's charm and style and felt completely at home. The shower was small, but with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Helen and Riaan are excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation in the mornings, at breakfast. The breakfast was good, too. They helped us refine our plans, as we had too many things to do in the time that we had. With their help we ended up making the most of our time and really enjoying our stay. Great people, great place. We will definitely return!
Nothing to complain about.
The breakfast was great.
Unique accommodation in the heart of Knysna. Good value for money and very friendly staff.
What a wonderful place! Friendly staff, beautiful cottages and personal attention!
Ina needs PRO skills. Not well received on first night. Treated with disdain. Otherwise enjoyed stay.
The design and appointments were totally unique, interesting and well done. The proprietors were fascinating and worked hard to ensure a great stay.
Our room was tiny, but had all that was needed. We definitely would stay again if we were in the area.
The breakfasts are amazing! They will keep you coming back for more! Our Tree-house was also a unique living experience!
A few critters running around on the roof at night; but I guess that's what you get when you sleep in a tree-house?
A uniquely styled spacious room. Great breakfast, helpful and friendly owners. Secure parking with the option of a 50rand valet.
- Great staff! - Unique atmosphere - Centrally located
- No shower only a bath
The people who owned the place were very welcoming and also very informative. They were extremely helpful with questions we had about Knysna and the surrounds.
Gardens are beautiful. Waking up to the sound of singing birds was awesome. Helen and Riaan were super hosts and we would highly recommend Inyathi Lodge to travelers. Thank you for the fantastic stay :)
The owners were just lovely!
It was just perfect.
Inyathi is a lovely, well-appointed guest lodge. The African decor, garden area and quaint cottages/chalets combine to give guests the feel of being in a secluded part of Africa; in reality, you are in central Knysna! Inyathi is located on a main road, but you wouldn't know it because the you can't even hear the traffic noises. Helen & Riaan are both very personable and are truly gracious hosts. Needless to say , I really enjoyed my stay!
The rooms was characterful and comfortable. Riaan and Helen are super hosts, giving us loads of information, very friendly, booking a boat trip for us, and being patient around our laggardly checkout. Excellent breakfast too, good location.
Very friendly, clean and comfortable at an excellent price
I liked the the detached wooden chalet and how private and quite it was whilst being in the middle of the town. For the money it was excellent, even the breakfast was good quality.
A wonderfully eccentric place for the open minded. The 'tree top' chalet is like something from Swiss Family Robinson - worth the little extra.
We loved this rustic facility. The venue is ideal for travelers but not suitable for this who like the ordinary. I loved it and the place was awesome so we're the staff.
