Although it was cold the cabin was warm and comfortable. Everything very neat and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. Riaan and Helen made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed our stay in Knysna.
I can't think of anything we did not like !
+beautiful little cottage(!!!!!) +you feel like you're in the nature, but the city is just a few metres far away
We loved our stay at Inyathi. The rooms are situated in a lush, garden setting. It is a former artist colony and has retained the character and flair. We loved it's charm and style and felt completely at home. The shower was small, but with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Helen and Riaan are excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation in the mornings, at breakfast. The breakfast was good, too. They helped us refine our plans, as we had too many things to do in the time that we had. With their help we ended up making the most of our time and really enjoying our stay. Great people, great place. We will definitely return!
Nothing to complain about.
The breakfast was great.
Unique accommodation in the heart of Knysna. Good value for money and very friendly staff.
What a wonderful place! Friendly staff, beautiful cottages and personal attention!
Ina needs PRO skills. Not well received on first night. Treated with disdain. Otherwise enjoyed stay.
The design and appointments were totally unique, interesting and well done. The proprietors were fascinating and worked hard to ensure a great stay.
Our room was tiny, but had all that was needed. We definitely would stay again if we were in the area.
The breakfasts are amazing! They will keep you coming back for more! Our Tree-house was also a unique living experience!
A few critters running around on the roof at night; but I guess that's what you get when you sleep in a tree-house?
A uniquely styled spacious room. Great breakfast, helpful and friendly owners. Secure parking with the option of a 50rand valet.
- Great staff! - Unique atmosphere - Centrally located
- No shower only a bath
The people who owned the place were very welcoming and also very informative. They were extremely helpful with questions we had about Knysna and the surrounds.
Gardens are beautiful. Waking up to the sound of singing birds was awesome. Helen and Riaan were super hosts and we would highly recommend Inyathi Lodge to travelers. Thank you for the fantastic stay :)
The owners were just lovely!
It was just perfect.
Inyathi is a lovely, well-appointed guest lodge. The African decor, garden area and quaint cottages/chalets combine to give guests the feel of being in a secluded part of Africa; in reality, you are in central Knysna! Inyathi is located on a main road, but you wouldn't know it because the you can't even hear the traffic noises. Helen & Riaan are both very personable and are truly gracious hosts. Needless to say , I really enjoyed my stay!
The rooms was characterful and comfortable. Riaan and Helen are super hosts, giving us loads of information, very friendly, booking a boat trip for us, and being patient around our laggardly checkout. Excellent breakfast too, good location.
Very friendly, clean and comfortable at an excellent price
I liked the the detached wooden chalet and how private and quite it was whilst being in the middle of the town. For the money it was excellent, even the breakfast was good quality.
A wonderfully eccentric place for the open minded. The 'tree top' chalet is like something from Swiss Family Robinson - worth the little extra.
We loved this rustic facility. The venue is ideal for travelers but not suitable for this who like the ordinary. I loved it and the place was awesome so we're the staff.
Location was great. They had a basic breakfast (Yogurt, Cereals, Small cooked breakfast of Bacon, Sausage and egg). The lady on the front desk was only filling in for the owners whilst they were on holiday. She was very polite and pleasant, however only had limited advice on where would be good to go for a nice evening meal. It was defiantly a new experience to stay here and I would recommend for a cheap and basic night or two break.
Powdered milk in the room.
Romantic place with its own special laid-back, greenish atmosphere. Like an oasis in a more frenzied little town.
We came on an a rainy day - may be that was the cause, but the rooms seemed a little too dark and damp for us. Lighting was poor in the rooms.
attractive garden tasty breakfast helpful staff braai facilities
Cool African style of the rooms, nice change from the regular B+B,s.Beautiful garden and good breakfast with friendly staff.Central location, you can walk to the waterfront.
As Main street suggests-the rooms closer to the road may hear the occasional truck passing by--but nothing serious in terms of noise.
