There was nothing i didnt like! We had a great stay even though it was only 1 night we would have loved to have stayed longer. the service was fantastic, staff were excellent. all in all i will def go back!!!

The room was really excellent. A very good size comfortable bed and large bathroom. It was very good to have a spa within the hotel. The hotel is close to the beach and not far from the business centre of Port Elizabeth

The chairs in the dining room are too low for the tables and thus sitting at the table was not comfortable. I thought the standard of the food provided at breakfast and dinner was not good enough compared to the rest of the hotel.

Having travelled in SA and abroad and being exposed to many different hotels, I can honestly say that it was a wonderful place to stay. Quality and service was impeccable.

You cannot organise a party in a house with people upstairs its just not on.This went on till the wee hours.WE wanted to walk out.Breakfast is ,so slow and dinner is painfully slow.

Stunning location, near the beach, and the hotel itself is just stunning. A stay here will help you feel like a million dollars.

The suite was excellent .

Had a large balcony , but overlooked a road. Arrived to be told private function was being held. This meant restaurant and pool not available. Had chosen for these facilities. Was offered dinner in our room, which we accepted. The main courses were appalling and replacement equally bad. Breakfast was very poor .this is meant to be 5* Poor attitude from staff except restaurant manager. Worst experience in South Africa.

Efficiency, quick help, staff assistance and care for the guest

Breakfast it will be better if it can be a buffet. The breakfast took too long and I had my family meeting on my last day and we ordered a breakfast and it took too long to get to us and the coffee was cold

Hotel was excellent in every way, comfortable and clean. Staff excellent. Breakfast very good.

Slightly away from the main area of shops and restaurants, so you really needed a car, but was quite walkable if fit.

1. Location - it was quite far from all interesting places in PE. 2. Poor Internet access. 1. Месторасположение - немного далековато от всех интересных мест в П-Э. 2. Плохой интернет.

I got upgraded to the executive suite. it was really lovely. it made me feel special.

good location in quiet an safe residental area in summerstrand. just a 2mins walk to the beach and a 5mins drive to restaurants. Warm welcome at the entrance with water even before 14pm. Very stylish place with lots of lovely details fitting perfectly together. Room spacious with comfi bed, luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. balkony nice with ocean view. Pool refreshing and a nice place to relax. club sandwich at pool bar was delicious!!! Breakfast served at pool bar with great selection all included! fresh oj!! staff was more than nice and always at our service! A perfect place to recover after a long flight from europe! Would stay there again if in P.E.!

- Hotel only two years old - rooms are nice, clean , spaceous and comforable

- Even is only 2 years old slowy u can see lack of maintenance (pool, and waterfeature getting greeen ) - check in and check out process was a nightmare, at the checkin the ask you al,ost all information again which you had to sumbit at the booking with booking.com already. The checkout was terrible it was taking about 1/2 hr to get a kind of propperly looking invoice which even than is not to accouting neccesarys for companies and not accordinmg to SA law. I left than frustrated !

The staff are really nice and professional but I think it might be understaffed as the service could be better but in general a great place to stay with lovely food on the dinner menu.

The Room + Bathroom

The ambiance at the dinner the evening .Music not good entire atmosphere not right Breakfast staff member complaining that he was alone the others did not come to work . Mixed up when serving above given as reason . So the entire dining experience was not really very pleasant

What a gem!

This is a real fine boutique design hotel. Different from guest houses wide spread in the Garden Route, this house offers full scope facilities and services 24/7, including a nice bar and a small dining restaurant. Staff is highly professional, competent and reading your mind for any wishes that the guest might have. A perfect place to relax and enjoy, due to small number of rooms, there is tranquility. Beaches are just 5 min to walk, however, sea view from our room was a bit limited. Restaurants are in walking distance or just a short taxi ride away (cca ZAR 40 one way to Boardwalk casino, shops and restaurants). Price / performance: not a budget hotel, but really good price/performance, targetting demanding guests looking for a state of the art design hotel.

I could not think of anything that we did not like.

Staff were mediocre for a property which is trying to be upmarket eg when we arrived they just showed us to our room no explanation of services or layout of hotel no times for breakfast dinner etc Basically no intererest in the guest

Minor issues -The bath and the tiled floor in the shower could have been cleaned more throughly. --No soap in bathroom to wash hands. -Hotel was relatively empty during stay
