Nothing to dislike.
Quite location that's very safe and quite. Excellent hosts. I would certainly go back. The road to it maybe bumpy, but it was fun.

The road into Jackelberry is very bumpy - I got a bit weary when it took me about 9 minutes on gravel road to get in there - but I was very pleasently surprised when I got to my bungalow - parking just outside "my" bunglaow. The breakdast could have been more I would have wishd for more options :-)
I loved the fact I got bungalow nr3 just by the river - I love hearing nature just outside my doorstep. It was nice and quiet and the pool area was nice and clean. I enjoyes chatting with the managers and their son! I got alot of good tips on where to eat and what to see and where to stay when into Joburg. Helpful staff that accomodated me with everything that I needed!

1. The way to the facility from the main road was rough. 2. It's time for them to put in new towels - although those were clean but very old
Location was beautiful - I enjoyed morning walk along the river

That we did not have more time !
Mpumi and Hans were amazing hosts and it was 11 years ago when we were first there and 11 years later, it was time standing still in the most perfect way ! We loved it and would definitely go back !

it had been raining alot and the cottage had a faint mildew smell. the lodge is very far off the main road and the driveway was very rough. but then again we were in the rainy season.
The remote location was nice for a get away. we stayed one night and left early. but supposedly you will have hippos playing in the river and even walking around the property.
