Friendly owners, both restaurants Robby recommended were excellent.
Thanks to Robby for excellent hospitality and helpfullness.
Robbie and his wife were absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The breakfasts were fantastic with their home made breads and jams. We would definitely recommend them. Bruce & Yvonne
Robby and Chantal (Owners) went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. From advise, directions, printing of emails etc. The breakfast were on time and ready for us when we wanted them served. Tasty too! So Friendly and so hospitable! Thank you!
The Host was very attentive to all he guests and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good and the sharing of a large table with other guests makes for a family atmosphere. Honesty box in operation for confectionary and drinks is another example of the care and trust invested in the guests.
Thw service was excellent and I will recommend Khashamonga with confidence. They are prepared to walk the extra mile for their quests
Robby was extremely helpful in advising us of places of interest to go and good restaurants to eat. we also enjoyed meeting other guests around the breakfast table!!
Our hostess was extremely welcoming, friendly and approachable. The facilities are great, including a pool and sauna. The garden is beautiful and peaceful - a real haven. The layout of the rooms, all connected to the porch, is great if you want to socialise with other guests, but less so if you're looking for privacy. Our room and bed were very comfortable, but with no air con it got very hot (mind you, this was on an exceptionally hot day in the middle of the summer). The breakfast was delicious, with a selection of breads, yogurts, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, plus bacon and eggs cooked on request. Bella, the Belgian/German shepherd is beautiful and loves playing and tummy rubs - a definite bonus for dog lovers!
The only downside was that the WiFi didn't work, but this seems to be a fairly common problem in South Africa.
Wonderful guesthouse with good facilities and friendly hosts. 5 star breakfast.
Absolutely everything. The owners couldn't do enough for us. The decor was unique and well thought out, the grounds were immaculate and this was one of the nicest places that we have stayed at
Nothing. I cannot find a single thing that we weren't happy with
I liked the way that the owners integrated with us and made us feel very welcome. And I liked all the facilities at the guesthouse like the pool and jacuzzi. It was awesome!
The Basin in the Bathroom only had a COLD TAP!! Internet kept going off. Was pestered to pay Cash and not with Card after arrival. All other Guests we're Belgium and they all Spoke mostly French with Hosts while I sat with them at Breakfast. The Woman was rather Unfriendly Location was not very nice, just a Modified Old Privat House :( Only Off Street Parking :(
We enjoyed everything when staying in Kashamongo Guesthouse! Very friendly and helpfull staff, clean rooms and pool area.
The intimate and homely atmosphere.
Just about everything. The facilities in the bath/shower for wet razor shaving could be improved. And of course, there's the perennial question pertaining to every hotel in the world: "Why is there no decent light suitable for reading in bed, or at the desk/table?"
We had a great time. Thanks to Robby who went an extra mile to make sure we are happy and comfortable. We will deffinetley come back. And we will tell all our friends about the lovely experience.
There wasn't enough warmth, one small heater couldnt warm up the entire room
