These self-catering wooden cottages offer breathtaking views of Knysna’s lagoon from each of the private balconies. In the garden, guests can relax on a sun lounger by the seasonal swimming pool.

it was imposible to do our laundry, we had to ask at the guesthouse next door....
I like the location of the place, very close to everything one will need, the view of the lagoon, ver friendly staff.
secure parking, breakfast
Noisy little room just off reception. Unable enjoy breakfast outside as everything was sopping wet on the deck. Having to drag luggage slapbang through diners to get downstairs to parking.
The location where it was situated.
The room that I was allocated had two single beds and that just didn't do it for me as I'm married. And the towels was unpleasant to use
The budget room I was staying in was dark, cold and smelly. Not recommended! Perhaps other rooms are better. breakfast room too crowded, the whole place kind of run down.Old dogs and their hair everywhere :(
My room was perfect. There is a very friendly atmosphere with a great view from the deck and the breakfast was fantastic. I will be back next time I am in knysna.
Nothing I did not like.
There was a beautiful view on the deck outside, but none of the tables or chairs were set up or wiped down, to have breakfast there. This is there main picture that sells the place.
I asked for a double bed and when I got there I was told I could move the bedside table and put the beds together myself. We were there to run the marathon, we were told a cold breakfast would be put out, but they would not be up to help or serve!!! All other places offer lifts to start of pickup for their guests and are up early and wish them well. When being offered an omelet on Sunday morning and asking for a cheese one, it was not possible as the owner had gone to the shops and the cheese was locked in her fridge in her flat!! It was just one disappointment after the other. The wiring in the bedroom is going to burn the place down, there are open wires on the side of the bed and badly taped.
Warm welcome by guest house owners Large breakfast included in the room rate Clean rooms, bedding and bathrooms Great central access to all amenities in town.
TV was blue an pink Space in dining room to much onto each other. Duvet for single bed just fit the bed, so turning around wasn't that comfortable. Was in first room at reception, very noizy from the street side.
pleasant owners.breakfast very good.
their photos gave the impression that their were balconies with each room. the shower in our room undesirable as with the noisy air vent. otherwise great.
Very helpful and friendly owners and staff, lovely breakfast, pleasant surroundings and cleanliness.
There was nothing to complain about.
The breakfast was fabulous. Views from balcony great. Picturesque house. Fireplace. Bible provided. This House has so much potential if it is run efficiently with emphasis on client service. Good parking area. Coffee in room. Microwave, fridge.
Owners refused to fetch me at bus stop at 3h10 but I offered to walk. Owners would not allow me in at 3h10, I had to spend 3 hours at the Shell garage till 6h00. Towels had mouldy spots. The budget Room could be spruced up - replace bathroom mats, cups, kitchen cupboard, kettle, carpet. The pics on website did not look like the actual room. Coffee in room is great but sugar is needed not just sweetner. I dared not ask the owners for a lift to the bus station on leaving, just wheeled my luggage. No real effort to provide great guest service and hospitality.
We always feel so welcome and loved during our visit. Love staying at knysna manor and we will definitely come yearly ;-)
The Manor itself is beautiful, as well as the pretty garden.
There is nothing negative to swy about Knysna Manor.
Staff and friendliness
The location was very central and perfect for a solo traveller. Staff were friendly, comfortable room and good breakfast
Very neat old style B@B with wooden floors and lots of antiques. Very centrally located, walking distance to town centre and waterfront
Marvelous breakfast Good communal indoor sitting spaces Very friendly and helpful staff Good location within walking distance of everything you needed It was nice to have a bath in the ensuite
rather small swimming pool and not much outside sitting space - balconies outside the rooms were very narrow
Lovely large home run by a wonderful couple. One block from the main Street, easy to find and walking distance to everything. Great breakfast and patio overlooking the bay.
Nice property in itself If better run and maintained could be a jewel
Inkeepers seem not to care about clients Seems they have not checked rooms in a while Rooms are not clean and are filthy Not well maintained, need lots of repairs Old soap and razor in shower Towels very smelly and stained, looked like they have not been washed, only dried since last room occupancy or even before Wooden railing in stairways sticky and rest of house dusty and smelly Would def not recommend to stay there Water in pool not clear Almost cold water and no pressure in shower Last call for breakfast at 9 AM
