eveything, location peaceful, the birds and wildlife which we came for. swimming pool
For anyone traveling to CT by car, this little gem just outside Beaufort West is a find of note! What an outstanding night - beautiful accomodation, a most welcoming pool and Braai packs with salad available to order - seriously worth a stop!!
Everything to like. This was the best night of our South African visit. It was such a peaceful well appointed rustic but clean and very comfortable place. The swimming pool was great set in a lovely bar area for relaxing in. We didn't have time for a game drive but saw Kudu , Tortoise and a great dog called Sam. Kids loved the climb up beds and the large green space to run around in.
Braii pack could have been better, but I would be knit picking to mention it.
very close to nature,landscape
It was far enough outside of Beaufort West that you aren't bothered by noise, but close enough that you can hop in for dinner or supplies. The whole property is very nice and well taken care of. The lady at the recepti0on was very helpful and nice.
Gail and her staff made our brief stay comfortable and educational. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious. Gail worked with our schedule by arranging an extra early morning game drive during which we fell in love with the way giraffes run. The night sky was stunning.
In the middle of the bushes, a real african experience. As I got there, a giraffe family was blocking the road inside the property. PERFECT for family or couples.
Little struggle with water heater and not so hot bath.
Peacefull and isolated place. Inside a private reserve, walking allowed inside. Great braaï. Warming electrical blankets for the winter time. We really enjoyed our stay.
Such a beautiful location with gorgeous chalets and facilities. They have a well stocked bar and you can order a yummy braai pack which you braai yourselves. Saw buck, monkeys and a cheeky warthog. Loved our stay
The location !
The bathroom, the braai condition
A quite, and surprising oasis in the middle of nowhere. After entering the reserve you follow the dirt road for a few kms and you end at a large lawn surrounded by comfy chalets and a very nice pool area. In the evening the springbok and warthogs show themselves. The four big tortoises shuffling around have enticed you already to slow down your pace. The gamedrive will give you a large array of animals, amongst others giraffes.
The millions of stars, animal sounds at night, a welcoming committee of a herd of impala, birdwatching. We really enjoyed the beautiful warm evenings outside at the braai. The two resident dogs were great hosts. We enjoyed our stay. :-)
We would have preferred a queen size bed and not twin beds pushed together, was a bit uncomfortable. The shower floor and walls could be tiled for more comfort.
the beds were very comfortable. Nice pool and good breakfast. It was fun seeing a tortoise on the lawn.
The AC did not work and we needed help locking our door and getting hot water.
We had a fantastic stay, My 3 teenagers enjoyed the pool and fell in love with Sam the dog. I asked them for some salad en braaibrood, and it was in our fridge when we arrived, everything tasted good and well prepared. It was one of our highlights of our holiday.
