Loved the house, and gardens. Fantastic views from our bedroom, it was bedrom #1. Excellent breakfasts and friendly helpfully and knowledgeable staff. Leaving.

Spacious room with very comfortable bed and high quality bedding. Great breakfast and good location for the centre of the village whilst being a quiet location. Lots of locked gates and a big bunch of keys to carry around but that's the price of security.

We only stayed one night but received a very personal service from the hotel staff, who made an effort to ensure our room was ready as soon as possible for us when we arrived earlier than the check-in time. Our room was excellent and the bed was particularly comfortable. La Fontaine is conventiently located for the centre of Franschoek and the surrounding area.

The guesthouse was centrally located but still in a quiet street. Our room was very comfortable & the staff was friendly and recommended a great venue for dinner and drinks overlooking the valley. Our overseas friends were so impressed ! We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely location, very central to the village. Room adequate. Bathroom too big and very cold. garden overgrown could do with some trimming. Difficult to acess carpark hedges overgrown.

Zentrale Lage und doch in einer unbefahrenen Seitenstraße gelegen. Blick auf die umliegenden Berge vom Zimmer aus. Gutes Frühstück und die Darstellung im Internet hat sich bestätigt.

Av fem besökta Guest Houses i Sydafrika, som alla var bra, var detta det bästa. Inte bara för att det låg i fantastiskt trevliga och vackra Franschoek, utan även för läget i "staden", trevlig personal, stämning och stil samt trevlig trädgård och romantiska rum. Kan inte komma på någonting!

Everything. A charming comfortable place to stay. Lovely gardens with pool to sit around after a day sightseeing or wine tasting. Great breakfasts. Kathie is an excellent hostess and will help you to make the most of all that the area has to offer. Hope to stay again. Leaving

Läge, traditionellt... Trevlig personal, stort rum. Bra frukost, bra pool. Vingårdarna runt Franschoek. Lite "gammalmodigt" - traditionellt. Knarriga golv, lyhört.

This room is good for four family member. The location is good to mail street and quiet place. friendly stuff. If they kept still water in fridge, it was better because I don't trust water from tap. Bath tub is necessarily In winter season.
