For the price close to beaches Rooms are all on same hallway entrance doors a few feet away from each other. Concern about others meant had to lower volume on TV Heard others when they woke up- noise spillover from rooms staff began preparing breakfast at 5 am - which again noise spillover.

Room good. They do not keep up with the check in times. First night had to sleep in flat and move the next day to b&b. We did not get what we paid for. Lounge always occupied by girls wearing next to nothing and lying there all day and night.....Think what want!!!!!! Like we did.... I have never come across such a rude person as Ingrid...Other guests also saw this....

The location; the design of the rooms; the furniture; the staff; The weather; Ingrid the ownner especially her accent and I won't mind calling her office just to hear her voice. No traffic; the atmosphere was accommodative. The food, the price we paid. It was really a experience of a lifetime and we are planning to visit La Loggia again before the end of 2013 with more friends than we did. I'd really recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Durban. Well I guess it's wrong to only give the good things and not mention something to improve. I think the swimming pool needs to be looked after because we had a nice swimming but there was too many leaves in the water.

Stayed in room 2, up a lot of stairs by the side of main building, room very small and in need of a complete update, no view, other rooms looked a lot better. furnishings over fussy and worn.(10 cushions plus!)bathroom shabby, breakfast and diningroom fine. Need to have a car to get around and out to eat.

They make a very nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and air conditioned. They also supply wifi. On the Booking.com website, it showed La Loggia at one address. We only found out on the day that we arrived that there are two La Loggia's and that we were staying at the second one, which was a bit further from the beach than the one that was listed on the website.

It was comfortable and centrally located for my business trip. Ingrid, the owner could show a bit more interest in her guests on arrival, greet them and spend 5 minutes to talk to them. She seemed to be in a great hurry to leave again.
