Owners are very welcoming and the location is perfect for exploring the city by foot. Staying in the Bo-Kaap is a special experience and enjoyed the access to the roof top patio a lot. The buildings are beautiful and courtyard secure parking available if no street parking available.

La Rose B&B, on Rose street, delivers all the rustig environment promises! About as downtown as you can get — everything close at hand, but not too expensive, and fantastically hosted by Yohann of course. Breakfast with all (or almost all) of the guests at one big table. Very light and comfortable, and a stunning view of Table Mt from the roof terrace. We recommend it whole-heartedly!

La Rose is a small but very nice b&B. Service is great and very personalised. Morning breakfast is a treat and a great chance to meet other guest, share experiences, discuss day plans with the staff and get their helpful suggestions. Location is central and you can walk to most of the city centre attractions and nightlife. Street parking is easy if you have rented a car and for free. We had a great time and will recommend La Rose to our friends and family.

Greeted on arrival. Airconditioning and fans. Very colourful and service was excellent. Breakfast really nice and great for the money paid. The location is probably the more authentic part of capetown, slightly set back from the main street Long Street, but to be honest, you will see alot more of the real Cape Town - Africa and not the so commercial (could be anywhere) Long Street area.

Great location, nice design of accommodation, great breakfast, good atmosphere. Too many cushions / big plump pillows! I found this everywhere in Western Cape. Guys like small pillows! (Girlfriend happy though)

I enjoyed the friendly, warm atmosphere of La Rose b&b as a small, family- run guest house. The owners are a young couple, who also manage their b&b and join their guests most mornings over a cup of coffee to chat and help with any information needed. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. My room, the Garden Room, was charming (green with Buddha wall decorations and a tiny garden outside the door). The b&b is conveniently located within walking distance of most Cape Town city attractions and near many good restaurants. In addition, it is in the Bo-Kaap district, which is colorful and appears to be one of the last genuine neighborhood communities in Cape Town.

What we liked most about the hotel was the owners and informal chats over breakfast . They were very helpful with advise about local places of interest. We also loved the location it is within walking distance of most of the attractions. If you like walking. If not a short taxi ride away. And the area has security patrols out on the streets day and night. Would recommend this place for a few days stay. What was the down side ? Well the room we had was very small and compact. Not a lot of storage space. Nio chairs in the room, The bathroom was clean but the water pressure in the shower was poor. We were on the ground floor with a small access over stepping stones with a seat beside it. The cushions were wet and had mildew on caused by the rain.

Rooms are furnished with very much care to detail creating a personal atmosphere. Owners a joining guests for breakfast to serve them and to chat about life in Cape Town. Everything in the city center is in walking distance, like the tourist information center where you can hop on the sightseeing bus or Long Street with its the restaurants and bars.

Well located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping and other points of interest. Yoann Nicolas and wife provide lively conversation at breakfast time, as well as good tips for tourists not familiar with Cape Town.

Room is new and very clean, love the smell of the air freshener too! It was tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. Great for single traveler like me who wants to stay in a safe, nice, warm, affordable and comfortable place yet near to the heart of Capetown. It is located in Bo-Kaap, which is a nice Muslim heritage area with a cool cafe down the road. The owner Yoann and his wife is very friendly and helpful too! The oriental room is located right next to the dining table for breakfast, where all the guests gather in the morning for breakfast. Won't be an issue for those who are early riser but can be really noisy if you are still sleeping. Nevertheless breakfast is from 7am-9.30am, so the noise is good enough to wake you up for breakfast.
