La Savina - The Island Club  

Beautiful, spacious apartment! Our ground floor unit opened onto a little verandah & lawn facing the water - beautiful! Really well- equipped, even with washing machine, tumple dryer, dvd player. Walkway to Canal Walk centre was a great plus as well.

No reception - all contact was by phone and we couldn't meet the manager to pay - had to do eft. No wifi.

The apartment is rather large and lovely. The set up was rather strange as we didn't know how to check in. Apparently they normally send an email to explain the unusual set up. After a search we went into the hotel who then called the organiser to come and fetch us. The lady explained the facilities. To use the indoor pool you will need a swimming cap( which of course we didn't), the outdoor pool was too cold to use this time of year. There is a large shopping centre within walking distance. You would have to have a car to stay at this complex. Overall lovely flat, not the best location for cape town centre, however you could use this place as a base to cover many destinations.

Nice and clean room. I would not call it luxurius, but it was a great appartment. Very safe complex. A lot of shopping options on the mall that is next to the hotel.

Not in the city center, but that is something that you can also see from the map and the options on the mall are more than enough.

The location is what I love the most because it is very close to the Canal Walk .

Flats too close to each other and can be a nuisance especially when we had noisy neighbours

We received a warm personal welcome and this was just the start of a very pleasant stay. La Savina is very central to the airport, shops, waterfront and winelands. The flat offers excellent facilities with an exquisite view of the waterways and bird life. Tea on the patio is an experience we will remember for a long time! I liked the fact that there was dstv and I didnt have to bring my own card. Grateful for the heated pool and gym. The one minute picturesque walk to shops and restaurants in Canal Walk feels like entering another world. I will definitely stay here every time I come to Cape Town again, and I will highly recommend La Savina to all my friends, family and business associates. Thank you for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Absolutely no complaints!!!

Great position to Canal Walk, great for a long stay as it was spacious and had plenty of cupboards. More like a home away from home. Would definately recommendand it. Great place will definately stay again.

Could have done with more soap and toilet paper.

This is one of the most secure apartments. The location is excellent!!!! The hosts made us feel so welcome, they are a huge asset for La Savina!!!!!! We will never stay somewhere else when we visit Capetown again!!
