Beautiful setting.
Beautiful setting.
Demand to settle the bill, which was already paid via booking.com spoiled the whole good experience. As we were in hurry, i couldn't check and the manageress on duty insisted on payment, which supposedly she didn't receive. therefore i paid double and never received the credit.

Very sorted town when it comes to shops and restaurants.
Very sorted town when it comes to shops and restaurants. The beach is very close and the town is reasonably priced. Close enough to nature to make you feel like you've left the city behind
LOADSHEDDING!!! Brace yourself as it can put a damper on your evening especially, because most places close by 8pm. so pack your board games and powerbanks.

I think adding wifi will be a great bonus with Netflix and YouTube... Didn't enjoy TV channels and the food at the kiosk was so cheap
It was easy to get around there was fridge magnet with places to eat and go see
We went to Swartvlei, Knysna, Plett, Tsitsikamma, The Heights...
It was lovely staying here. Clean, tidy, all our comforts were met. I forgot my earrings there and called the same day we left to speak to the owner. I was duly assisted by both the owner and the friendly Mrs Min who found the items and delivered it to my family in Sedgefield. I am very satisfied with their honesty, kindness and professional service. They treated me as family.. Thank you Linda and Mrs Min!!!!
Also glad that there were enough extra blankets as it was an exceptionally cold weekend.
This is self-catering so breakfast is not included. We booked for 5 days and had a great time with my grandkids. They enjoyed canoeing on the river and walks and brought their bikes to explore and ride up and down the hill and in and around Sedgefield. The views from the top of the mountain are spectacular. There is a lot to do in Sedgefield and the beaches and rock pools are full of sea life. We brought our life jackets for the grandkids. The house has a great stoep and a nice braai area.
I Liked the communal swimming pools, however it is close to/infront of private residence houses. far away from your rooms. This were not disclosed on the website. The web site is MISLEADING. NO WIFI, but website state differently etc...just 1 example, parking is far, no kitchen, no mob, no broom, no braai facility, your view is the back of a huge hotel/building, you feel as if you in a servants quarter...no microwave or fridge...etc. etc.
What a wonderful place to stay over in Sedgefield.
A really well cared property...garden and cottages and main house.
Thoughtful touches all over..from milk in the fridge to a vase with flowers..
A sense of pleasing the guest with loaded qualiy equipment in abundance.
At this price level...for me...top marks
Fully recommended
The location of the beach cabanas is excellent, right on the beach front. I really liked the rustic feel, friendly staff and the food was heavenly. The dinner was large meals and even the kiddies were catered for. (Very sticky eaters). Overall, a great experience and convenient for 1 night stopover venue.
Outstanding, exceptional, warm, what more can I say?
Wat a magical gem, hidden in the slopes of the Sedgefield forest with breathtaking views.
Thank you to the staff and management who couldn't spoil us more.
Had guests for breakfast and the vegan catering was as delicious as everything else.
The location was great. The rooms well set out and super clean, The breakfast was great too! Friendly hosts Paul and Joy and super value for money - a definite option for anyone needing a stop over in Sedgefield or a base from which to explore the area.

The upstairs private balcony.
Layout of the apartment.
The property is very central to all amenities Sedgefield has to offer. A private quiet pretty garden. Mike & Lesley are lovely hosts. Everything was exactly as advertised and met our expectations.
