Easy to find. Location.

Cold, heaters not available.

The location was excellent and easy to find. Free on site parking.

Only small thing, had 2 towels in the room when we booked a party of 5.

The staff were very friendly.

It is next to the main road and very difficult to sleep as it sounds like the trucks are going through the room.

Staff very helpful and friendly, and the self-catering accommodation had everything we needed.

Rooms a little on the small side. Wifi didn't work in the room.

We had a 2 bed suite,,was very clean and everything you needed was there..if you needed anything staff soon got it for you

The location and excellent value for money. The owners were wonderful and offered personal service and great advice. I would definately recommend it and return as a base from which to explore the Garden Route.

Reception very friendly and very helpful

The staff was very friendly and the room was very cozy. It was also in a great location - close to the main area with restaurants and shop, but still out of the bustle. Also very close to great hiking and some stunning views.

The maid cleans the room once in 4 days??

Noise from room above amplified through wooden floor. Person or persons above were stomping around and kicking a bottle around until 1:30 am by which time we left because we weren't able to go to sleep. Noises from other units were also heard. Not a quiet place to sleep over or stay!

Its a nice and quite place were one can relax and enjoy your vacation without any worries.

Very convenient for access to Knysna town. Lovely view of lagoon. Excellent value.

Traffic noise off N2, so ask for a back room or take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely welcome, well thought out decor with the life-living quotes etc, cleanliness, ease of check in and out, child friendly - we have a 2, 4 and 6 year old. Nice walk to village shops and walk without being too close to them also.

The boss is a very careful gentleman and his wife is a good assistant. The environment is good. The rooms are not ample, but even the smallest one which I stayed in has all facilities, like microwave and fridge. It is a very reasonable and cheap one so close to central Knysna.

The host and boss is not very concentrated on running this hostel, though he manages it in a tidy and neat way and replies to emails of enquiry in time. If a guest arrives late, they must inform the boss in advance, otherwise they have to get some difficulties in ringing and opening the door. Early check out may face the same thing; the boss trusts the guest and may only speak loudly to let they leave the key in their room and check out without any further checking.

the owner was very unobliging. We called ahead to explain that we would arrive late as we were travelling by car from Cape Town. She was very offhand. When we arrived, she was definitely not friendly or obliging. There are signs all over about "don't leave anything behind, we wont get it for you" This is a "self catering" "bed and breakfast" which means that there is no food provided although there was a microwave oven in the room. There was no information about where we could go to get food, and the owner definitely did not invite any questions. Not sure why someone would get into a business where they deal with the public if they don't like people!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the accommodation is basic, it was clean, and had all the necessary amenities.

The traffic noise from the N2 bothered a bit.

The guest house is located next to the lake with a nice view. The owners were very confederative and provided a pleasant stay. The decoration is nice and the rooms quite spacious. Very close to Knysna town center and major shops.

The road noise it's not very comfortable. The bathroom is very small and not to comfortable. The cleanness of the room could be better.

Nothing at all

Got a friendly reception. Was really a great value for money. One of the only places that offered a room for a single occupant (as my friend was with, and it gave my partner and I privacy, with my friend right next door). Was just off main street and in walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay, unfortunately we were there for only one night, would have enjoyed another day there.
