Our time at Lalapanzi was far too short but every aspect of our stay was first class. The Lalapanzi team are outgoing and made every effort to ensure that we were completely satisfied. The scenery and list of things to make it a fantastic escape from the city life. We will definitely be back.
Friendly Staff, beauty, and good breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient central location for visits to Cape Town, wine country, and the coast.
Lalapanzi was an amazing venue with excellent service and unbelievable views! I highly recommend spending a couple of days there to gain the full experience it has to offer.
It was an awesome get away even for Cape Town based people. In the mountains away from all the bustle of the city.
Lovely views, good food (even with the set menu).
Location was not very nice. Quite isolated compared to our expectations when we booked. We thought it was Stellenbosch, but was actually in a rural area above Sir Charles Lowry village, about 25ks from the town. (which was a poor settlement and at the time was closed due to unrest.) We were forced to leave by a very rough bush track.
Amazing location, tranquillity and views
no chef for evening meal on sunday, a long way to nearest restaurants
The quiet atmosphere with only the sounds of nature.
Air conditioning in the rooms would improve the stay, even if it means paying a little more.
Wonderful view over False Bay, beautiful lodge and fantastic dinner (thanks again, Adrian).
The walls to the neighboring rooms are not really noiseless.
