1. Super location 2. Beautiful tent with mountain view 3. Super Essen (perfect Ostrich menue cooked by owner himself in Restaurant) 4. Whirlpool bath with mountain view. Merci Pascal (Chef)
Nice and special safari tent/house with a beautiful panorama view and very friendly and helpful boss/ staff. They made a great dinner for us!:-)
We stayed 1 night at Le Petit Karoo. They view from our "tent" was awesome!!!! And sleeping in a not so average tent was a nice experience. Super breakfast and nice staff.
The staff could have given us some more information regarding what to do in the area (besides going to an ostriche farm)
the tent with jacuzzi the swimming pool great location
weak wifi poor breakfast (not included)
We had a lovely time in our luxury tent. The view was amazing. The tent had its own hottub at the back. The owner is a very friendly guy, who looks after the place very well. The location is perfect to visit the area. We had dinner at Buffelsdrift twice, which is nearby and has very good food. The breakfast at Le petit Karoo was excellent with again another amazing view over the valley.
We wanted to have dinner, but due to miscommunication, we had to find a place elsewhere. If you do want to have dinner, make sure you arrange it during breakfast.
An idyllic stay
The Bush tent accommodation was perfect. The view amazing. The set up very social
The tent needed a small fridge,
Very accessible to tourist attractions (Cango caves, Cango ostrich farm, Oppi Dam for catch and release fishing and Buffelsdrift for lunch or dinner) Quiet with Spectacular views and a Jovial Frenchman owner to make you feel at home! Our kids loved feeding the horses and playing with Lilly the chubby retriever.
Our toilet was a bit wobbly! And the coffee wasn't great (altho we are coffee snobs!)
The tent rooms are great! Luxurious camping:)
The bar & restaurant area as well the pool are under construction / maintenance. Noise from vehicles on main road.
Camp atmosphere Quietness and privacy Friendliness of staff
Hot water problem, but sorted out immediately. Gravel road up the hill not to good for motor cars.
Beautiful peaceful environment!!
Service to your room. Privacy. Amazing view. Special.
Bad driveway, stained towels, run down facilities, lack of maintenance and insufficient electrical plug points for supplied electric blankets.
Premises although clean a bit run down and can do with a decent make-over. Spa baths in both units 3 and 4 did'not work. Establishment not for self catering. Vacated the establishment the same day although were booked for 3 nights as it did not live up to the expectations as indicated via the net.
We loved the view, private breakfast, and comfortable bed!
The open bathroom is nice for views but too cold with the wind. Would've liked to close the sides to block the cold air while bathing.
Pasqual & the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great view to have breakfast by!
The position and the views
No wardrobe for our clothes, and very ragged torn curtains.
The view from the balcony. Friendliness of owner. Atmosphere is nice and warm - Walla !!
No airconditioning in room. No TV and DSTV in room. The road is bad, not suitable for cars.
Loved everything about this place. We stayed in the tented camps, which was so romantic! breakfast was the best we had on our trip, and was served on our private patio. If you book in advance they cater for dinner as well. Great hosts, and great environment, would definitely recommend! Would love to go back again.
Pool as a little old - and needed a service/good clean.
The novelty of sleeping under the stars but with the comfort of a proper bed and bathroom facilities. Lovely breakfast served beautifully on our own decking overlooking the valley. Perfect!
Nothing really - even the drive up to the site wasn't as bad as others had mentioned.
The view, the comfort of the beds and the staff. Friendliest staff in South Africa!
Location of toilet was a bit awkward in relation to tent doors and they need a separate light in the toilet
Was lovely and comfortable to sleep in the tent.
The position of the toilet is a little awkward to get to at night. The tent zips need a little attention so the fly screens can be closed at night but with main tent open, so you are really out in the wild
Great location Friendly, helpful staff Being outdoors to enjoy the view and the stars Nice breakfast served outside tent looking down over the valley
Nothing in particular - if you like camping you will like this
A really unusual place up in the hills a few miles outside Oudtshorn. Beautiful view and unusual accommodation either in semi tents or rooms...but by tents we are talking Harry Potter with large double beds and showers!! Pascale the owner really friendly and also cooks although we didn't eat there - food smelt excellent!!
Wifi signal very poor. Almost not worth having. It is the one thing they should try to improve.....oh...maybe the coffee at breakfast too which was the weakest coffee I have ever tasted!!
