just to have anight away for our 20th wedding anniversary , with peace and quiet , and no teenage children!! your hotel was a welcome break away.we also enjoyed the breakfast selection and the dining room atmosphere . |

The front desk officers were very pleasant and always willing to help. The daily room cleaning was below my expectation of a 5-start hotel. My bathroom was not properly cleaned during my stay. |

The hotel was a real find. Excellent facilities really helpful staff, great food. Shuttle to waterfront an excellent service as it was then easy to get in and out of the city. Only critical point waas the pool was too cold to swim in. A swim would have been great at the end of a busy day sight seeing. |

Good location close to the city centre and main shopping area as well as the beach. comfortable accommodation and friendly staff. Air conditioning was poor and noisy. |

From the moment we arrived, every single person we encountered at the hotel was friendly, warm and engaging. Rooms are spacious and well presented - great sea view from the balcony. Excellent breakfast selection. Any questions, queries or minor issues were sorted with speed and efficiency. Highly recommend this hotel. Needs better ventilation in the bathroom i.e. got too steamed up after showering and consistent replacement of amenities - rather than have to call down for them. |

Reception staff were excellent, but taking breakfast was like being at "Faulty Towers". The staff were friendly, but slow. 5 stars? I don't think so. I would like to know who checks star ratings. |

Stayed for 3 nights in november 2009.Very friendly welcome from receptionists who were helpful and knowledgable.Spotless room-towels changed twice daily/welcome tray of fruit on arrival in room.Close to centre of Cape Town.Huge selection of food at breakfast. Did not find out about free shuttle to Victoria and Albert Docks/city centre until we left.No information in rooms on hotel amenities.Very slow and poor service at breakfast-one morning no butter/no glasses/long wait for drinks.Staff could not have walked much more slowly-not 5 star standard.I would have been very unhappy if I had paid full price. |

Very central location, easy access to lots of shops and restaurant as well as city and camps bay etc, no safety issues, very helpful and friendly staff, breakfast buffet was excellent and best of all, free internet in room. Rate was also good value for a 5 star hotel. I would certainly stay there again. Lack of gym, spa, sauna etc. |

Great breakfast. Professional reception staff. Good selection of magazines in our suite. Waitress called my room at 11pm and asked me to come downstairs to sign a tab from lunch! I was not impressed. Restaurant manager asked my partner and I if we would join people at an 8-seater table for breakfast as the breakfast room was full. We declined the offer. |
