Little Thatches features an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and grounds with variety of birdlife. OR Tambo Airport is 7.5 miles away and a free airport shuttle is available. All rooms features African architecture such as a thatched roof. Room amenities include a TV, electric blanket and private bathrooms. The buffet breakfast serves various South African specialties. Guests can also prepare their own meals in the communal area which has a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Little Thatches provides a complimentary airport shuttle service. Little Thatches is everything I have been looking for in a play to stay when passing through Johannesburg. It is very safe, clean, has beautiful gardens, the cook is a trained chef, they took into account my dietary needs in the meal preparation, provided transport to and from the airport, and internet, and is a great value for the money. Plus, it was a very homey, very friendly atmosphere. I won't consider anywhere else the next time I have the opportunity.

Good food, friendly and helpful staff, tidy room Didnt see a hook in my bedroom to hang towel or jacket, couldnt change turning function of fan, couldnt see the mosquito tab burner.

Friendly service, family run environment, spotless bedroom, comfortable bed. Great place for overnight stay or if on a budget. Conveniently close to or Tambo, use the free transfer for convenience.

i was very pleased with my experience with little thatches. i was picked up at the airport by the owner and returned to the airport by the owners son. he was able to take me to a local shopping center while i was there, as i arrived late in the afternoon and the b and b was far from restaurants the owner offered to make dinner for me at the facility. the englsh breakfast was very good: eggs,bacon sausage and tea. highly recommended

Very friendly people in a cute guest house. Peaceful place to stay for short stay because no facilities around Winter is cold in South Africa, and they are no heater in the rooms, but electric blanket.

The staff at little thatches were fantastic. Arranging the airport pick up was easy. Little Thatches is a cute and comfortable BnB and I would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were cosy and the staff were thoughtful - they even turned on the electric blankets for us as we got in late. The breakfast in the morning was good value. We only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay longer.

Het onthaal ws goed en vriendelijk. +De infrastructuur was hopeloos verouderd . We waren gelogeerd in armzalige tuinhuisjes, Het verblijf bij Little Thatches is AF TE RADEN !!!

The owners came and picked me up promptly. I received a warm welcome. The facilities available were expalined and I was dropped back at the airport at the reqetsed time. I recommend this B&B for anyone looking to stay near the airport. I could not borrow a hair dryer and an iron as these were nt available.

The location is ideal for quick access to Oliver Tambo Airport. Peta, the proprietor, is a wonderfully effervescent lady, who obviously enjoys what she does and makes one feel at home. Her 'down-to-earth' hearty evening meals are just right. I would recommend 'Little Thatches' unreservedly.
