Lovane Boutique Wine Estate    

The place is fabulous. The setting is beautiful, it is clean, wonderful views, quiet and relaxing. It is close to other beautiful wine estates, with very good restaurants, not far from Cape Town if you want to go to the city, but far enough from crowds if you want to relax. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Although I marked solo traveller, I actually went with my mother who is disabled and the room we had was very suitable for her.

Personal service, brilliant breakfast and exquisite view of the mountains and vineyards. It did not bother me one bit to have a room facing the road (Malbec). The room is decorated with understated elegance and exudes a feeling of peace. It is impeccably clean.

A missing towel rail was replaced with a small copper hook which slightly detracted from the elegance of the rest of the bathroom.

Our room was just front of the parking, going out , entering room was so easy. We had a very nice breakfast. I could choose also loose tea , different kinds, the taste was excellent. I wish to stay more days to different wine cellar.

Room was rather simple, but bathroom was Nice and comfortable.

Friendly way that we have been welcomed, the vinyeard, total environment, breakfast.

We stayed in room 7. Due to an unplanned early departure the next morning we had to arrange for early breakfast packs. The reception lady was very efficient in arranging a most delicious breakfast. Our only complaint is that the shower and shower floor were very dirty, This dirt is a result of residue and mildew build-up over a longer period. Unfortunately due to other urgent activities we did not have time to arrange for a change of room. We flew back at 8h20 from Cape Town International and had to depart allready from Lovane at 5h00. The reception was closed when we came back from dinner – so we did not bother to try and find someone to complain to.

The location is right among vineyards and they have their own cellar where you can taste their red wines. Excellent rooms and lovely heated pool. Breakfast was top class. Highly recoomended.

This place is small but perfectly formed and family run. Wine tasting available and a Wonderful breakfast.

Modern and very nice facility with great rooms. Tastings can easily be organised on the spot. If you like to stay on a quiet winery, this is a perfect pick for a reasonable price.

During the day there quite some noise from the nearby main road. This is a winery without a restaurant facility.

This accommodation was ideal for the 5 nights spent in Stellenbosch! Friendly helpful staff, enormous breakfast, lovely room ideal location just outside Stellenbosch. We paid extra for the upgraded room and wow it was worth it! with magnificent bathroom and views over the vines. This is the smallest vineyard in South Africa at 2.5 hectares and had a opportunity to have a chat with the owner. We tasted the wines that are produced here and wish we had space in our luggage to bring some home. We used LovanE as a base to tour the wineries in the region and also Cape Town. It was ideal and we had a professional guide take us on these tours. Staff were helpful with suggestions for the many eateries in Stellenbosch and all proved to be winners. Highly recommended
