Veilige parkering en goeie diens
The staff were helpful. The room was comfy an warm. Bathroom was clean an nice hot water for a bath.
The kitchen a little small...but not too bad..One thing perhaps regarding washing dishes..perhaps a notice above door for people to know they can go to kitchen (main) to wash if they need.
quiet, good value for money, spacious
Very comfortable, friendly people. Room spacious clean.
Friendliness of staff
Well organised, good price, spotless.
To far from town
Everything was high quality!
friendliness, was quiet and no disturbances, room cleaned regularly
A very good price/performance-ratio. The rooms are big and en suite, there is a very good cleaning service everyday, the beds are comfortable, the service is nice , and there is a self-catering kitchen near by, which provides enough food and coffee for a breakfast. So on the whole you get a quality bed and breakfast for the price of a hostel, at least for european standarts. A nice place to stay for couples.
Only little things: there is no wifi, you have to pay for the internet in the room which is a little unusual. And it can get a little noisy in the morning, since you hear doors slamming all the time.
It's very close to the center of Stellenbosh and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very confortable and have all the equipments plus a bathroom and a small kitchen to share. There's also a private parking for your car.
The internet is not free, it's the main inconvenient in our view.
Location is good.
They were still busy with renovations whilst we were there, handling power tools between 1 and 3 on a Saturday afternoon.
The ample parking. Friendly staff. Decent bed.
Mosquitoes. Leave your windows open at your own peril.
Beth was extremely efficient really seemed to go the extra mile.
Staff is really friendly and helpful. Place is nice and confortable. Value for money is the best in region.
Nice place ,lovely room helpful staff ,good car parking Enjoyed the two nights there
Location ,alright for getting around ,apart from getting into town on a night if you want to sample the wine taxis in short supply
The room was in the service area (it must have been the servants room) and it should never be rented out. The cleaning staff started their work at 7:00, dragging hoses and rubbish bags, and there were clothes drying in front of the room. We could hear the washing machines working at night. The bathroom windows opened to the service area! It was like living in an informal settlement. It was the worst guesthouse I have stayed in over the last years, it ruined my holidays.
Perfect for the price, comfortable, clean and quiet with safe parking.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
My booking was revised to a double room with walk in shower, but this was not relayed to the guest house - we had single beds with separate bathroom across the passage.
Great value for money and very friendly staff. secure and very quiet. For the price I don't think you'll find a better place with the same quality. We would use it again.
The website says its a walk from the town but its a bit far so best to drive in.
It was very convenient and safe.
Our particular room was very noisy as there are a lot of windows where everyone is walking past, there was no privacy.
Magnolia Place is a simple, but very nice guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood of Stellenbosch. Very helpful and hospitabel hosts. The rooms are quiet warm and a little bit old-fashioned, but the value for money is good.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, modern facility
The owner's dog barking in the night.
The room in which we stayed was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available to us. I would recommend to anyone couple.
