Size of room peacefull location yet only a ten minute walk to the main strip, we felt very safe at all times even walking at night.
Not having a refrigerator in our room, Franschoek is a haven for wine lovers, we would have liked to buy some and keep it cool to drink on our lovely terrace.
nice site and garden with familiar atmosphere; stylish design and interieur; good Service; quiet and perfect for relaxing
relatively small room; pool partly in the shadow during the day; limited selection during breakfast; 10 min walk to the Center of Franschoek
We staten three nights and were delighted by the warm welcome of Jeanne and Clive. We also had their help with the booking of the restaurants. And of course we had a great walk with Clive at the Berg River Dam. Super great stay and the best during our South African holiday!
Everything about Maison d'Ail Guest House was perfect! French decor, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, swimming pool and good location with mountain views.
Clean and great staff.
Very good quality of accommodation.
We stayed here and loved the place. Nice and quaint with only 5 rooms total. Common areas and decor is beautiful. Great staff and delicious breakfast every day.
Everything. Luxurious house, attentive staff and welcoming owners. Couldn't fault a thing. Would love to return-
A little too far to walk from town centre, but taxis very reasonable.
The whole property is just so pretty and cute. The room is just so nicely decorated. Staffs are helpful. Just love this place.
Little far from Main Street, but if you are driving it's not a big deal.
Service, breakfast, views
too short stay
Amazing attention to detail, beautiful room and view.Excellent staff and delicious breakfast! Stunning views of the mountain and very quiet!
Tv in the room was really small
Located at the countryside, very calm. Guesthouse is very nice and well furnished, staff was nice and the breakfast very good
Not in walking distance to the main road where all restaurants are located
We just loved staying here, it is such a beautiful place and we really felt spoiled
there was nothing that we didn't like
There was nothing we disliked but the ambiance, cleanliness and Friends who met us when we arrived were all outstanding values and golden memories of our Guest House Hotel. Our sincere THANKS!! Willie and Ena Gibbens Stellenbosch
Villiersdorp was further when we retuned from a spectacular dinner.
Great location, stylish decor, attentive and friendly staff, extremely comfortable bedroom, highly recommended !
The pebble floor in the shower was uncomfortable to stand on.
Wow, we travel a lot and have to say that the standard here was certainly one of excellence. Could not fault them on anything.
The staff were so friendly and the room was absolutely beautiful and soooooo comfy!
All round excellent
Lovely room with stunning views. Conveniently located to the main street. Staff were very friendly and helpful
It was quiet (we went during Bastille weekend and it was out of the way of noise) The breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious
A long way to walk to bars, restaurants and shops It doesn't have a homely feel
This accommodation was fantastic. Extremely luxurious and clean and we were given access to the whole house as we were the only visitors in the quiet season. The owner made us a lovely fire in the sitting room where we could enjoy some local wine provided in the fridge. Just up the toad from the town centre with loads of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it!
A very warm & helpful welcome & a lovely place to stay.
Excellent accom, nice staff, very friendly.
Tea bags not replaced.
The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and like the stocked up Fridge in the kitchen which is used as an honesty bar. One of the nicest B and Bs I have stayed in.
Wi fi coverage not great in the bed rooms
EXCELLENT BREAKFAST WITH VERY FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL STAFF
