Lovely historic house in beautiful countryside. Comfortable clean rooms with modern feel. Lovely snuggly beds with good linen. Excellent breakfast.

Enjoyed this small guesthouse on the edge of Montagu and the hosts were most helpful in ensuring our stay was memorable. They checked the time of our reservation for dinner and breakfast was very good and served outside under some vines.

We did not like the fact that you had to pay for the internet. We believe in 2013 with this facility being now very cheap that it is unnecessary to charge for this. We find even the most expensive hotels eg The Bay at Camps Bay Cape Town that you are no longer charged. We think these hosts should consider changing their policy.

The gardens and breakfast were wonderful and the owner gave a fab recommendation for a mountain bike tour in a vineyard.

Very Tastefully furnished rooms (Only 4!), isolation from other guests. Fabulous fresh produce breakfast, and friendly and very helpful owner/operator

Joop and his lovely wife are excellent hosts. Super breakfast - brilliant location.

Design, space, position (by the pool) and layout of our room . Marvellous conti breakfast with home made foods. Soft fluffy white towels. Very helpful and friendly owners who obviously cared about the well being of their guests and took pride in their service.

Charming ,cottage-style accomodation in secluded garden. Friendly, helpful hosts ,easy safe walking acces to village restuarants.

Rooms were well thought through. It had virtually everything and our room had a nice tub to go along. There was a beautiful little garden and we had the best breakfast we had in our whole 2 weeks in south Africa.

We only stayed one night in Malherbe Guesthouse for an intermediate stop and would have loved to stay longer. Malherbe is a beautiful guesthouse with luxurious guest rooms in a lovely garden. Joop and Micky the very nice and friendly owners prepared an excellent breakfast for us. Great location!

Great room, big, clean and confortable. Great breakfast with fresh fruit and very helpfull owners. It is on the main Montagu road. In resume a great place to stay.

The best breakfast we had on our holiday. Good food served in a lovely setting. Our hosts were friendly and prepared to give advice on local restaurants, roads and attractions. Would recommend it.

Die Zimmer sind mit liebevollen Dingen dekoriert man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war genial der Tisch auch wieder sehr liebevoll gedeckt. Die ganze Anlage ist zum Wohlfühlen, wir würden immer wieder zurückkommen.

Een leuk onderkomen in een monumentaal pand, goed onderhouden en leuk ingericht. Onze kamer was in een apart huisje, daardoor veel privacy. Kortom, een aanrader ! Het ontbijt was prima verzorgd en werd op maat samengesteld. De restaurants zijn allemaal op loopafstand.

Es war wunderschön hier! Super schöne Zimmer, romantischer Garten mit Pool, und Joop und Mikkie sind super nette Gadtgeber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, besonders die selbstgemachte Tomatenmarmelade!

Mickyund Joop (Niederländer) bieten mit dem Malherbe Guesthouse eine schicke, im grünen Garten gelegene Unterkunft in Montagu an. Unser Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das von Micky und Joop zubereitete Powerfrühstück (mit viel Obst, Joghurt und frischem O-Saft) im grünen Garten hat uns für unsere weitere Reise fit gemacht. Nur zu empfehlen!

Prachtige b&b, mooie rustgevende tuin, gelegen langs een hoofdweg, maar dit stoort helemaal niet.

Die Zimmergröße - und Sauberkeit sowie das leckere Frühstück, der Garten und das Schwimmbad haben uns sehr gefallen. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort.
