The apartment was cool and much more than what we expected.
One printer at the front desk was broken and the other take a long time to print. We were in hurry in the check out but had to wait.
Great location, friendly staff
Cleanliness and Kitchen facilities
a hotel staff member walking into my room after 11:00 am after ive booked in
The furnishing was of good taste and clean. Security and privacy was of a good quality.
Its was really noisy and could hear all street activity.
Large rooms Tea making facilities including milk Some staff were helpful Central location
Restrictive wifi access Shower in the en suite is too low if you're tall Inconsistent service from staff - some were very good but others were average for a hotel of this level
Location is great! Size of the apparent was incredible. Price very reasonable
conveniently located in the city. well equipped kitchen clean and tidy
rowdy as long street party goers' noises can be heard late into the night
The view from our room was wonderful of table mountain. The kitchen and living area were so nice for a longer stay. We felt like we had plenty of room. The location to places to eat in the city and green market square were fantastic. The restaurant in the building was nice but a bit pricey for breakfast.
The washer-dryer was really complicated to use with no instructions and it did not dry the clothes. This was a big disappointment since we chose this place partially for the chance to do laundry in the middle of our month long trip.
Automatic lockdown of room before booking out physically quite traumatic for elderly couple
All excellent as ever
I accidently left some lost property in my room - a blue wash bag on the back of the bathroom door of room f502 - I emailed asking for them to put it somewhere safe - until we return next week but I have not heard anything back !! Martin David firstname.lastname@example.org
The cleanliness and the cozy environment in the room that was forcing me to spend more time in the room itself.
Charging for next day where I spent merely 2 extra hours in the mid-night.
We were three friends travelling but we were only allowed two devices on the wifi.
Spacious, very clean, well kept unit. Well equipped. Underfloor heating and good quiet air conditioning through out the unit very welcome in a cold, rainy and wet Cape Town. The best feature of the hotel is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Front office staff...excellent 2nd mile type service!! House keeping...fast , efficient and always smiling and offering their assistance. Rarely have I encountered such excellent service. Thank you !
Location is central to many places. Room was very clean.
Staff were not friendly. No offer to help with luggage. Telephone in room was not working, was ask to make a deposit at front desk to turn it on, I did, it still did not work. Then automatically wanting to charge me for some fund-raising that I was not aware of is wrong. I refused paying. I advised them to include that on their web-page and let people make the choice to donate or not instead of making it a part of the final bill.
There was a mix up with our reservation on arrival - an incorrect date was allocated for our reservation - which did not match our confirmation in writing. It was however handled well by reception and we were quickly allocated a unit.
location was ideal Staff were excellent. Food was cooked to perfection and service firstclass
Carpet in the two room apartment could have been vacuumed more often.
Was great when I stayed there previously.
Not the cleanest. Service was non-existent. Asked for an extra bed, was confirmed on phone 2 days before, paid for it @ 13h25 on check-in. at 19h00 was told, no extra bed available. Wifi didn't work. Mugs in cupboard were filthy. Bin in bathroom didn't work. Kettle was not great, rusty and stained. No pride from the staff side.
Complete Luxury. I will definitely come again.
Loved the spacious rooms and the overall size of unit. Loved the location. Bedding was very nice and clean.
Floors through out unit were dirty. Lots of hair everywhere so I cleaned all the bathroom floors myself as we arrived.
- The Apartment style hotel - The Rooms - The View of Table Mountain and the City - The Vibe - Location - Facilities like stove, washing machine, crockery and cutlery
The location was very convenient. The staff was helpful. The hotel is affiliated with the Mandela Foundation. Our unit had a full kitchen, washer and dryer! Safe since there were several security in the lobby, next to a key needed to get into the elevators. The restaurant in the hotel was reasonable ly prices and delicious food! Highly recommended
The Staff valued the guests and made everyone feel important.
Spending the time to sign up and pay for WIFI. I believe the Mandela Rhodes would garner more business if they included the WIFI connection in their room rates or even advertised free WIFI.
The Photo's of the executive two bedroom apartment on the booking.com website and where we were booked in were a major difference. There were watermarks on the floor, minimum decor and we were just disappointed by the overall look of the apartment as it was not what we expected and did not meet our expectations at all.
Heated flooring and space. Location is good for venturing flea markets.
there is no view.
Friendly staff, and large rooms
problem with keycard and access to parking garage
