Our hostess Wendy was absolutely magnificent and Christopher attended to our smallest requirements with such politeness and a continuous smile! What a pleasure it was staying here - if I return for Ironman next year, we'll definitely be staying here.

Excellent room (large, comfortable & clean) - really was with a super bathroom. A friendly greeting made you feel welcome. Location was great. Just wish last time I visited PE I had stopped here. And not to forget an easy drive to the airport.

We loved our stay at Manor 38. It felt like home. It was comfortable, the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as lovely as it was.

Manor 38 is an absolute great place to stay, the best B&B we stayed during our 3 weeks trip through South Africa. The very charming, efficient and helpful lady hosts and staff Christopher made our stay in this very nicely designed and extremely well furnished and decorated B&B into a 5 star experience, which rating it more than deserves.

Everything at Manor 38 is first class, and exceeded our expectations. Wendy and Chris always anticipate the needs of their guests, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly and is the ideal spot for relaxation when not "on the go" as a tourist. Wendy is available with suggestions for dining choices, and books tours and trips if required. We loved our stay there, and would return without hesitation.

Superb service. Wonderful friendly staff who were always ready to help and nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully furnished rooms with lovely comfortable beds in a very nice part of Port Elizabeth. Great breakfasts and a lovely pool. I would recommend Manor38 to anyone visiting Port Elizabeth

There isn't one single thing

We were on Honeymoon and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable!! We had such an amazing time and stay!! It was amazing!!

Amazing service from Wendy and Chris that went well beyond our expectations of customer service (and we do have high standards having travelled all over the world). I observed Wendy deal with a very difficult guest with a professionalism that is rare - she should be on a training video to help others learn! The personal touches make the stay extra special and we will have fond memories our of visit for many years. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here our first night of our honeymoon - and throughout the time there - we compared the breakfast and room to everywhere we went - loved it

A great little guesthouse! Wendy was incredibly welcoming and helpful! The presentation of our breakfast was superb and we had a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Best place to stay in city if you are looking for something special! You will feel like home! Huge room and bathroom! Chris makes the best omelet that I ever had and Wendy is the most kind and helpfull person ever! Thanks and congratulations!
