Trying to find it!!!!!!!!
Room and gardens,
As a wine estate, having purchased a bottle of wine....no wine opener in room, quickly resolved when reception lent me one
Staff, Breakfast a real treat on the verandah; rooms of high quality.
Only having 1 night. Suggest at least 2 to soak up the atmosphere.
Cottage with balcony view of Table Mountain is wonderful. The massive room was beautifully decorated. Whilst dinner is not provided a wonderful picnic was quickly made for us as we had not thought to arrange a meal. So helpful. The Vineyard is a wonderful thing to see and experience. The Wine is also very good so we bought a car load for the rest of our journey. Rose is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
wifi is not good enough
staff and all
The people are really nice and helpfull. The location is romantic and beautiful.
Views, views, views! Unbelievably spacious suite. Manor House would make a great group booking for a party of travellers. Great breakfast and great wine!
Beautiful location in the heart of wine growing country. Fantastic views from the breakfast terrace while enjoying a lovely full breakfast served by extremely friendly staff. We stayed in the Table Mountain suite which was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Dirty swimming pool no air conditioning, very basic room
Views and location
Just a fantastic couple of days - great food, great wine and a pool overlooking the vineyards. Beautiful setting
1) No room phone to contact management have to walk far to order things 2) Internet strength 3) bathtub would be perfect
Location breakfast view Picnic basket
Extremely friendly service from check in to check out, nice wines, modern rooms, some with a small deck. Perfect view and very quiet, still close to a lot of other wine farms in the area.
Needed better Wifi.
Loved the views, the pool, the interior design, breakfast was amazing, people were lovely.
Some noise from the wine cellar cooling unit
Huge living room and very spacious bathroom. Modern African styling.
Quite expensive compared to other places, but it is quite upmarket so to be expected. Wifi is limited (none in the rooms). Quite a drive to restaurants you may want to eat at (make sure you ask them to pre-book for you, the good ones are hard to get into)
The room is beautiful, spacious and incredibly comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious. Gorgeous views over the winery
I liked the level of privacy
The loft was great and very good breakfast. We definately will book again the next time we are going to SA!
It's very hot under the roof in the lofts. The staff is young and sometimes less aware of hospitality-standards.
A very good, well-kept and luxury accomodation. Modern and with a beautifull bathroom. Nice wines (a talented somelier) and excellent cheese and biltong. As a guest and as a visitor you can walk around the property which is AMAZING!!
Inclusive wine tasting with biltong platter
We stayed in the pool house next to a wonderful swimming pool and billiard ! It's a very quiet place in the vineyards and it's beautiful. It's about 15 minutes of Stellenbosch.
The stay was great, but the breakfast was below par.The eggs were not fryed properly and i had to send them back. There was no alternative option if you dont eat pig.i.e beef sausages. The buffet spread did not have certain foods covered that should have been. There was a limited variety of stuff to choose from. when i sat down i expectes to get serves tea or coffee but it was all self service.I paid a lot per night and i expected all of these things at brekfast. In my opinion these small things are what determine whethet people are willing to pay such a high price to come back
The complimentary wine tasting, the beautiful scenery and grounds, the spacious room and bathroom and the tasty breakfast
The estate is beautiful! The wine and breakfast was excellent! Really great value for money! I will recommend Marianne Wine Estate to everyone and will return when we visit the Cape again.
Super Service. Lovely Room. Good Food. Overall, a very delightful stay at Marrianne Wine Estate. Their wines are super and the tasting was an enjoyable, relaxed time on the terrace - simply wonderful. We'll be back!
Don't trust the photos you see on booking sites, you'll get disappointed on arrival. Maintenance is a big issue.. smelly rooms and pool dirty .
staff on arrival was nice.
There was nothing that we did not like.
We were so lucky to stay in the Master Suite at this beautiful winery. Semi outdoor shower overlooking vines with a full bath in the room alongside. A full walk-in wardrobe and a large bedroom Tastefully decorated in an African style. Everything about our room and the downstairs lounge and kitchen areas was excellent and we would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Stellenbosch.
