Room fabulous. friendly staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff
The place is very calm & the staff there is very friendly. The visitors were also kind & fun to hang with. My wife & I enjoyed every moment.
Did not like the wifi because I could hardly brows with it. They need to work on their romantic themes.
Lovely hotel and surroundings
Reception staff was very unfriendly, not what you expect from a 4 star'general service mediocre, will not make the effort again.
Loved the continental breakfast, the amazing bed and the cleanliness of the venue
The landscape is so pretty and it could been a fantastic place to go to but the neglect and the absence of management makes it an unpleasant experience.
This could be a very nice place but the service is so bad. We arranged for early check-in after a 9 hour night flight, but the room was not ready. And when it was finally ready, we had to find our room in a maze of little pathways, carrying our own luggage, no assistance offered. And the rooms are dirty and not maintained very well.
Beautiful place and fantastic to stroll around the walkways and water features. We always felt safe and secure. Restaurant & Pub Service and meals were excellent. Staff were friendly. Great facilities. Very calm and relaxing.
Suite wasn't ready on arrival Service overall outside the restaurants were slow, frustrating and at times non-existent. Mini-bar was not stocked and Room service was poor. With this in mind I feel it was over-priced as a beautiful setting and good facilities alone does not justify a premium price.
My husband and i went to Misty Hills a while ago for our first weekend away when we started dating. This past weekend we went there for a re-living of the memory. Yet again - wonderful experience!!!!!!!!!!
The signage for the rooms is bad, when we checked in it was raining and getting lost due to lack of clear signage didn't help. We were in 603, receptions said parking 3 was the closest.Unfortunately from that parking you walk all the way up to 7, you pass 5 on the way but there's no way of getting in between 5 and 7, so once you are at rooms starting with 7 only then are you able to go inside the blocks and walk back towards 6. But even inside, the signs for where which section of 6 were, were limited.
The place it's like a small heaven the way it is, beautiful designed under lot of trees with a perfect choice of serving game meat at carnivore. Excellent staff starting from the reception, carnivore and summerhouse where I interacted with staff members.
great. Carnivor Restaurant was an experience Breakfast excellent Tranquil setting.
Please update gym equipment
Staff friendly and welcoming. The garden maintenance staff are well informed and are very friendly and helpful.
We arrived at Misty Hills On Tuesday 23 September for our Anniversary away from Kids and needed to relax. We had never been informed that Misty Hills was Cash less. So upon arrival we were informed no cash is permitted. I understand this for security reasons but here sit my husband and I with cash we drew to use over the 2 days stay. We were then informed breakfast is served 7-10. On the public holiday arrived for breakfast at 9 and then heard breakfast is served till 11. Reception staff should make us aware of times especially on public holidays. We came to relax and sleep late as we have triplets (18 months and a 3 year old Boy) extra sleep is a luxury. The rooms are comfy but no packing space for underwear, no draws in rooms neither at bed side tables. The big tv does not suit the rooms at all and flat screen are a good recommendation for all rooms. We didn't mind the rather big tv but doesn't suit the rooms style.
The platter of nibbles on arrival The outdoor shower and the size of the indoor shower The fireplace and the air con The bed was divine- it was a Serta mattress- I checked! :)
The fact that ot took well over 40 minutes to get additional coffee, milk and sugar to our suite. There was not sufficient.
Accommodation Layout of venue Restaurant
Need porters to assist with luggage Parking not user friendly
Executive suites were wonderful!
Heat in the room was minimal...not great for winter breakaways...
Everything. Food, place, the environment.
Fantastic service and amenities, was upgraded to a Royal Suite and it was an absolutely beautiful setup. Pity it was too cold to use the splash-pool :)
Not enough hot water and their room-service menu needs updating, also no wifi in the room which was unexpected for the room.
The food, the spacious and clean rooms, comfortable bed, tranquility of the area
The roof of room needs some touch ups @ the top.
the set up of rooms and the pool area
we dint like bath tabs there are small
Scrumptious breakfast, friendly staff and the tranquility of Misty Hills
Wifi accessible to one user only
The rooms are beautiful and secluded.
The breakfast buffet can have a wider variety of items
1. Not far from getting on and off the highway 2. Staff were very friendly and helpful 3. Linen seemed to be clean and fresh 4. Soft toilet paper 5. Food was good 6. The personalised note on mybed
1. A lady came around and woke me us coz she thought I had left already - it wasn't even 8.30 yet! 2. The room was cold as the heater wasn't effective, although it was in working condition 3. I wasn't sure where to park when I went to check in as everywhere it said "tow-away zone" so I parked my car quite far from the Hotel and walked there and back. Nothing serious but for older or disabled people it might be a problem 4. Didn't like the idea of my car being outside in the sun for 2 days.
It is nice and private and you are able to walk around in the lovely gardens.
