An impressive landmark on the Sandton Skyline. InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers is ideally located in the city’s most exclusive business and residential district.
Score from 96 reviews Very good
Check in staff was very "relaxed", not very interested in our business They should provide a key to guests to the parking lot or be more responsive when guests arrive with their car
excellent situation very friendly staff
The welcome at reception. The room size & the decor. It was really a homely feeling & the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Accessing the hotel premises and parking.
Almost everything in this facility makes you feel at home!
The Presidential suite is the best value for money suite we have ever stayed in. The hotel is very conveniently located, and there is safe secured free parking, although the rail service to all parts of Jo'burg is only a few metres away. The staff are very professional and helpful especially the waiter Richard. We will definitely use this hotel when we next visit this wonderful country.
- spacious - bed and linen - bathroom finishes
I asked for fried eggs got scrambled eggs.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and constantly trying to make our stay even more memorable. The bed and bedding was also superb.
When it were time to leave!!!
As you walk your way from the parking to the reception, the picturesque garden setting places you miles away from the city! Whilein actual fact being very central! The rooms or should we suites, are impecably decorated with every note of fabric to fixture oozing a luxurious feel! The downy soft bed and the gigantic bath and also shower were by far my highlights!! Breakfasts in the morning was also just and added delight! A must for any traveling couple!!!
Everything was amazing!!!
The great service and friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room is beautifully and tastefully furnished with the best of everything including linen. The food is great.
This is a very small boutique hotel in bustling Rosebank. It is right next to the Rosebank Gautrain which makes for very quick and efficient mobility. Beautiful and comfortable beds and decor in the room. The bathroom is very spacious and luxurious with heated floors.
Attention to detail is required. The plastic wrapper of the soap from a previous guess was left on the bath. I did not see any new soap for me. Worse, there were some strands of hair from the previous guest in the bath. (I used the shower instead). Apart from this comment, the bathroom is very clean. The soap bottle dispensers in the shower cannot be removed as they are secured at an uncomfortable height. This makes it difficult to dispense soap. More went onto the shower floor than into my hand.
room was outstanding Staff service location to Gautrain
Everything - location close to the Rosebank train station and shops, very easy to get to and from the airport. Great friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and service. Rooms are huge, the bed was one of the best I had slept in.
The safe area, close to shopping mall, restaurants, walking at night, the comfort of the hotel....
The Monarch is a delight. With just 12 rooms, it feels more like a private home. The staff is plentiful, attentive and a joy to be around. We didn't eat dinner, but the included breakfast was excellent. The Monarch is just a half block away from the extensive Rosebank Mall with its good selection of fast food, smart casual and fine dining restaurants. We were fortunate to be there on Sunday to enjoy the Rosebank Sunday market. The Gautrain rail station is right out front, but we opted for Monarch's private transfer from the airport. Would stay again and highly recommend. We were there for three nights.
No fitness center, but they do provide free voucher for Virgin fitness.
Great room. Very delicious breakfast. Very friendly personel.
All was good except for attitude.
The staff value hotel customers by the price tag on their clothing and outfit. In our jeans and safari boots we felt unwelcome and were chased by the staff all the time in their attempt to establish for sure that we actually live in the hotel. It was very disappointing. Food is overpriced.
The comfort of the place. The sympathy of the owner and the warmth of most staff.
At the arrival the receptionist who oppened me the door did not provide any help with my luggage or even ask if I would like any help.
Beautiful rooms. Very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is very close to the Gautrain. i would recommend this hotel again.
Nothing to complain about.
There was nothing to dislike about this boutiques hotel. Excellent service, comfort and value. In particular, the common spaces and even the room where we stayed have cutting edge high quality contemporary art--an interesting contrast to the otherwise old fashioned décor.
I particularly recall Richard the waiter and how kind he was
The decor is stunning and using real antiques is so pleasant to see as oppose to other hotels that has every room the same furnished in mass produced chipboard veneer cheap furniture made to look expensive
Was not told about wifi
Excellent rooms! Excellent Staff! Excellent Management!
Everything. The service, the rooms, the people and the food were all fabulous.
